Because my practice focuses on DWI defense and criminal law, I often speak and lecture to other lawyers about how to try a DWI case.  Local media in cases and issues involving DWI or other intoxication issues has interviewed me.

 

My goal is to focus on each case that I take and provide personal client attention.  I try more cases in a year than most criminal lawyers try in ten years and I believe that is for several reasons.  First, I like my clients.  If I can help them in their time of stress I want to do whatever I can.  Second, I like trials.  I enjoy the stress that comes with being in trial.  I believe that when I walk in that courtroom, as arrogant as this might sound, I am in charge and the goal is to help my client.

Best attorney and law firm in Lubbock
I had two different legal issues that I was facing and was terrified of the potential outcomes. However Mr. Hamilton and his firm/practice were beyond amazing and I never had to step into court personally until the sentencing / end of my case. He is literally the best lawyer in Lubbock he got me an outcome I never knew was possible. His office is right across the courthouse and I never had any issues contacting him with regards to case updates and questions about my case/cases. Our son had serious allegations made against him by another student resulting in university and police investigations. We hired Stephen and Cindy to represent him through this very scary process. I was facing serious prison time after a series of bad decisions involving drinking and driving. I was literally staring into the unknown. DWI
I was charged with a Class A Misdemeanor DWI with a BAC of >.20. This was definitely the lowest point of my life, but they made me feel human and forgiven. I was represented by Chase and he was amazing! He, as well as the staff, were extremely helpful with any questions I had and very quick to respond. I was offered pretrial diversion and have the opportunity to get my charge expunged after 2 years of probation. I know this could have turned out dramatically different and ruined my future, but I am SO glad I chose this firm.
