Biography
Michael Baumer has practiced bankruptcy law nearly exclusively for over 25 years. He has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1984, and has been board certified in both consumer and business bankruptcy law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1998, one of the few attorneys in Austin to have both certifications. Michael served four terms as president of the Austin Bankruptcy Bar Assocation. He has also been named a Texas Monthly Super Lawyer. Michael is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy related topics.

Great experience made filing for bankruptcy easy
I was extremely depressed and worried about having to file bankruptcy but Michael, Megan, and everyone at the office were extremely helpful and made it a much easier process than I anticipated.... plus the payment plan helped a lot!

Service Feedback
The services of Baumer Law was outstanding. We called often and the staff never made us feel like we were burdensome to the firm. Any questions we had were never treated like a dumb question. Your firm diligently followed up with any letters or e-mails concerning new developments for our case....
