BEST LAWYER IN TRAVIS COUNTY

Neil has been my attorney since November of 2024 in my child custody case and has done an amazing job! Given me the best temporary court order to follow until court and has been very communicative and helpful in any and everyone questions I have.

Divorce sucks, let Beyer Law Firm make it suck less

Most of you browsing this right now are probably in a place of unknown or anxiety with the life-changing events that are unfolding before you. While Neil and his team can’t cure that, they can absolutely help you transition to this next phase with care and respect. I am as hard-headed as they com...e, and through Neil’s guidance, I was able to get out of my own way and let him help me get through this divorce as unscathed as possible (it’s divorce, not a birthday party). Neil will allow you to advocate for yourself and “stand up to him” without making you feel dumb. He answers questions thoughtfully and carefully and will explain things to you at your level, which was great for someone as stubborn as I am. Throughout this process, I truly felt like Neil cared about my well-being. When I thought I was making the right decisions, he informed me why it was not necessarily the best decision to make, and he did it in a way that didn’t make me feel stupid. Even after not responding to a few emails that were sent by the office, this prompted a text from Neil ensuring that I was okay and that nothing was wrong. I would also be remissed if I didn’t mention his paralegal, Valerie Valentour. She was amazing and kind as well. Even at times when I was short with a response that didn’t seem always kind, she responded with professionalism and kindness. She was absolutely wonderful as well, and I cannot thank her enough for her help throughout this process. No one wants to deal with a divorce, even if your future ex is awful. It still sucks. Let Neil make it suck a little less. Be honest and upfront with him and don’t hide anything from him because he is at his best when you tell him everything. Don’t be afraid to stick up for yourself because Neil is an attorney who will listen to you to ensure that YOU are ultimately taken care of at the end of the day.

Unmatched Expertise and Dedication

This is my second time hiring Neil Beyer, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my case. His experience and intelligence in family law are unparalleled. He genuinely understands what his clients are going through, making them feel heard and supported. Neil’s passionate dedication, determination, a...nd sharp skills as an advocate for his clients are unmatched. Most importantly, he doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear—he tells you what you need to hear, which is something I deeply respect. I also have to give credit to his amazing paralegal, Valerie. She is efficient, knowledgeable, and always on top of things, ensuring everything runs smoothly. She is a huge asset to the firm, and together, they provide an exceptional experience for their clients. Thank you both for your dedication and for always delivering!

Former Client

Neil and his team were amazing. They were organized and timely. They were well prepared each step of the process. I would absolutely recommend them and will be happy to use them again.

Complicate divorce case

Neil represented me in a rather complicated divorce case. He did an outstanding job and I highly recommend him. One kind advice: do tell him the whole story so he can present your case as thorough as possible. Do not hold back in conversations with him as you may think it is embarrassing or perhaps n...ot that relevant. Neil will decide that for you and handle possible obstacles the best way.

"I have known Neil since the late 90's when we were both associates at a large law firm. Later we met again after we had both hung out our own shingles and by chance had office space across the hall from each other. So I have gotten to know Neil pretty well and have valued his insight on the workings of the court. He is my first choice when referring clients to a family law lawyer. He is a zealous advocate and does family law because he likes it and is good at it, and sees it as a valuable and necessary service. He has done other kinds of law in the past and would be successful doing other kinds of law, but this is his calling. He really believes in helping people through this difficult process and has the unique skill set for it. And he's a straight shooter. Tells it like it is."
