Jennifer Caras graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree. After college, Jennifer attended the University of Houston Law Center. It was during Jennifer's summer law school internships at Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse and the Texas Council for Family Violence that she became interested in family law issues and advocacy. She was inspired by her work and felt like she was making a difference in people's lives and serving to protect those in need. Jennifer will tell you that her favorite part of being a family law attorney is helping her clients get through one of the most difficult times in their lives.

I just finished a very difficult divorce in terms of the complexity of issues and the unwillingness of the opposing party to cooperate. The process was long and frustrating at times, but Jennifer stayed on task and kept things rolling even when it seemed liked my divorce might never be finalized. S...

She works @ Judy’s office, ABSOLUTLY money hungry. No emails reply on time. Documents always contained many inaccuracies. I had a hearing for which she would not even meet with me until the night before. She drags my case out just to eat up my money. She left my case and moved it to another attorne...

Jennifer Caras was my attorney in a child custody matter. She worked hard on behalf of me and my daughter. The case involved modifying an existing order that would ultimately allow my grandson to be united with his (U.S. Army) mother anywhere she is stationed. Jennifer was pleasant to work with, t...
"When I say that Jennifer puts her whole soul into a case, it means that she stays up at night thinking about creative ways to deal with difficult issues, talks to everyone available about ways to deal with novel legal claims, researches every handbook, journal, and encyclopedia, then looks up the caselaw. She really takes an interest in her clients, in learning for them, and in helping them, more so than any other young family lawyer in the Austin area. Jennifer is an asset to any case and will doggedly pursue a positive outcome until she attains it."
"I endorse this lawyer. Jennifer is a strong advocate for her clients and also a pleasure to work with. She has a keen sense for the issues and getting to the heart (or heat) of the matter. She's a true asset to the Travis County and Williamson County communities."
