I just finished a very difficult divorce in terms of the complexity of issues and the unwillingness of the opposing party to cooperate. The process was long and frustrating at times, but Jennifer stayed on task and kept things rolling even when it seemed liked my divorce might never be finalized. S...he made decisive strategy decisions with me, listened to my concerns/desires for visitation and child support issues, and prepped meticulously for my mediation and trial. Her submittals to the opposing counsel and court were always on time. Unfortunately, as we had to go to trial, the legal fees were substantial and I was worried about future payments. Thankfully, the trial ended and I was awarded back a substantial portion of the fees spent, suggesting that the judge understood my situation and that the effort on Jennifer's part was necessary to achieve the best outcome for my case.

She works @ Judy’s office, ABSOLUTLY money hungry. No emails reply on time. Documents always contained many inaccuracies. I had a hearing for which she would not even meet with me until the night before. She drags my case out just to eat up my money. She left my case and moved it to another attorne...y at the same office, without even telling me or gives me heads up. Their excuses always the same (contracts say so and so)…Each time I can get hold of someone to talk about my case, it’s a different attorney! And as you know minute counts money and as you know you have to explain the problem again and again each time one of them picks up the phone. She is even scared to face lawyers at the court…actually her office uses her only when they want to withdraw from a case. Do not do my mistake…with her 2 years experience and with her hourly rate; you can definitely get a much better young motivated lawyer….

Jennifer Caras was my attorney in a child custody matter. She worked hard on behalf of me and my daughter. The case involved modifying an existing order that would ultimately allow my grandson to be united with his (U.S. Army) mother anywhere she is stationed.
