Unmatched Expertise and Dedication

This is my second time hiring Neil Beyer, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my case. His experience and intelligence in family law are unparalleled. He genuinely understands what his clients are going through, making them feel heard and supported. Neil’s passionate dedication, determination, a...nd sharp skills as an advocate for his clients are unmatched. Most importantly, he doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear—he tells you what you need to hear, which is something I deeply respect. I also have to give credit to his amazing paralegal, Valerie. She is efficient, knowledgeable, and always on top of things, ensuring everything runs smoothly. She is a huge asset to the firm, and together, they provide an exceptional experience for their clients. Thank you both for your dedication and for always delivering!

Highly recommended

I never write reviews but this one hits close to home. I’ve enlisted the help of Beyer Family Law on multiple occasions to protect my daughter. Neil and his staff have always gone above and beyond. He has taught me the ins and outs of family law, counseled me on not just the best winning strategy but... more importantly what is best for my daughter while being completely accessible through the entire process. He never promised me anything but excelled in his delivery. He is truly a master of his craft. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position to need his services, you would be hard pressed to find yourself in more capable hands.

I highly recommend Neil!!!

I was referred to Neil by several people on social media. He did not disappoint! Neil and his team are fantastic! My case was a child support case (modification). Basically my sons father (NCP) wanted little to no responsibility and Neil made sure that wasn’t going to happen. Trust doesn’t come easy ...to me, but I trusted him and he sure delivered. He is trustworthy, honest and stern. He will fight for you. I’m beyond grateful for his team.

My lawyer for 10 years and lawyer to two of my friends

Neil was my lawyer from 2009-2019 and has served as lawyer to two of my friends since then, and if I ever need a family lawyer again, he'll be my lawyer again. I am one of the small number of single dads with custody of a child, and Neil's advocacy over the years for my daughter and me has made a big... impact on both of our lives. His extensive experience in courtrooms, mediations, and direct negotiations, and knowledge of nuances of how to position me for getting the best outcome possible for my child and I was crucial to me being able to provide a stable situation for my child after years of instability while her mom had custody and when we had split custody. I first hired Neil in 2009 when my daughter's mother and I were breaking up right as our daughter turned one. While we did not get the result we were hoping for when we went to trial that fall, I found myself needing to call on his services numerous times in the following years as my daughter's mother continued to put our daughter in bad situations and finally, in 2019, we were able to negotiate in mediation our current agreement, which resulted in me having custody of our daughter. Over that 10-year period, we had numerous mediations and court appearances, and his knowledge of the history of the situation was invaluable to his ability to properly advocate for me. Our current agreement has remained in place for 3 years - the longest period of time ever since her mom and I broke up - and I am convinced that it will stick. His ability to counsel me on what was and was not possible (or likely) in court was always important to me understanding what I was getting myself into. He was good about managing my expectations, which is important in this type of situation. Since my last case with him in 2019, I have referred him to two of my friends. One friend was another father who was committed to being involved with his daughter and just wanted joint custody (like I did), but who was having to deal with a former partner who wanted to unilaterally move their daughter away and simply assert custody. I knew him and I knew that he didn't need to accept that outcome, so I told him to call Neil. Neil was able to help him negotiate a joint custody agreement that resulted in my friend's home being the basis of his daughter's school, which was especially important to him. My other friend is a single mother who has been dealing with an ex-husband who put them both in a bad financial situation and who forged her name on a divorce decree that deviated significantly from the direction the judge had given them. I told her about the work Neil had done for me over the years and now he is helping her get it all straightened out. Neil's experience working with a very wide variety of clients and circumstances, combined with his abilities to both find creative solutions in a mediation and be a fierce advocate for you in front of a judge gave him a unique ability to help my daughter and I out in our difficult situation. I consider Neil a friend and an important part of my life after all we've been through.

You will not be disappointed, best attorney out there to fight for your family

Neil and his team were amazing. Beyer Family law is an honest, dependable law firm. Neil is not afraid to be honest with you about if he thinks what you are asking for is too much/too little, he is very good with communication, he is absolutely fantastic in court, and is more than trustworthy. I ...feel like there was truly no other attorney that could have one my case, a quickly and efficiently as he did. Neil and betsy made me feel like I was not alone in such a scary fight.

"I have known Neil since the late 90's when we were both associates at a large law firm. Later we met again after we had both hung out our own shingles and by chance had office space across the hall from each other. So I have gotten to know Neil pretty well and have valued his insight on the workings of the court. He is my first choice when referring clients to a family law lawyer. He is a zealous advocate and does family law because he likes it and is good at it, and sees it as a valuable and necessary service. He has done other kinds of law in the past and would be successful doing other kinds of law, but this is his calling. He really believes in helping people through this difficult process and has the unique skill set for it. And he's a straight shooter. Tells it like it is."
