Ilana is an exceptional divorce lawyer

The reason I loved Llana as my divorce lawyer was 1) she is a woman with confidence and strength. She never belittled me or my situation. She worked out financial payments I could afford, 2) her knowledge and attention to detail allowed my divorce to go smoothly. Without her help I see now that it wo...uld have been extremely difficult to navigate the paperwork and court rules as an outsider to the system, 3) Ilana was kind, supportive and encouraging through what was a difficult and emotional year for me. She related to me as a person not a paycheck. I would recommend her 120% for anyone finding themselves in need of legal counsel or divorce services.

Highly Recommended- Child support and custody modification for adult disabled child

An attorney friend recommended Ilana to me after my ex sued me to reduce both his custody and child support for our adult daughter with a significant disability. Within minutes of our meeting, Ilana shared a personal story about her close relationship with a loved one with a disability. A wave of com...fort washed over me that I could not have anticipated or expected. Connecting with an attorney who truly understood the experience of disability brought tremendous relief and a profound sense of support. There are particulars to custody and support for a child with a disability. Ilana is knowledgeable and well aware of these issues. She was my guiding light throughout the miserable process of having to return to court again. Ilana responded to my questions promptly to keep me informed and guided me in pursuing a path leading to the best possible outcome for my daughter. I am deeply grateful. Ilana is a smart, knowledgeable, compassionate and responsive attorney. I highly recommend her for your family law needs.

So lucky to have found Ilana

Ilana was the first attorney I had ever worked with and she made everything that I had to resolve with my custody case so easy and simple. She has amazing follow through and took the time to go over all of the questions and concerns I had regarding my case. She's knowlegeable and personable and I w...ill never use anyone else. Thank you Ilana for taking something so stressfull completely off my plate and getting it done. You are simply the best!

Highly recommended

I highly recommend Ilana Tanner. She is down to earth and easy to talk to. She gives great advice and does not overwhelm you with lawyer lingo. She breaks everything down and makes sure you understand every detail. She treated my case as a priority, and was accessible. In court she was sharp, knowled...geable, and on her game. I was very pleased with the outcome and services. I hope I don't end up having to go to court again, but if I do, Ilana Tanner is my go to for sure!

Professionalism

Ms. Tanner took my custody case over and very quickly and professionally handled what I felt to be a losing case. At every moment I knew what was going, when it was going to happen, and what to expect. If I had questions or comments she was quick to respond. When she didn't know the answer, I felt as... if she made it a point to quickly get the correct answer and not some dribble to make me feel at ease. She made me feel at ease with her demeanor and understood what I wanted. Even during the mediation phase she never let the other party control the situation, stray from the subject at hand, and only worked with the facts of my case. I would recommend her to anyone having custody issues such as mine.
