Highly recommended workers comp expert

I hired Phil in 2010 to provide expert opinions on workers comp issues. Phil is knowledgable, efficient, conscientious about the amount of time he spends on the matter and responsive to inquiries. In addition to providing the requisite analysis needed for the case, Phil also educated me, helping me... better serve the client. He is sensitive to deadlines and never left me in a situation where I needed something from him and wondered whether I'd get it in time. I would highly recommend Phil as an expert on workers comp issues and will absolutely hire him again when the need arises.

Great Defense Counsel.

Phil is a great resource and advocate for insurance defense assignments. His can do attitude while laying out the hurdles that must be overcome provided our staff with the details essential to evaluating claims accurately and ultimately being successful on the cases we took to judgment. Phil is very ...personable and eager to collaborate with staff to finalize the litigation plan. One of the best in Texas.

Claims Adjuster

I would use him again. I think he is very knowledgeable of the law and is very helpful.

Also while I was a an appeals judge with the DWC appeals panel I listened to several CCHs he was involved with so I am very familiar with his professional skills. He is a very tough and skilled advocate. He is always a professional opponent that is thoroughly prepared. I have the utmost respect for him."

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Phillip Wray is a very friendly and personable gentlement that I have had the difficult challenge of going up against on a couple of workers' compensation cases. I endorse his work because he's tough, he keeps his cool, and he is very intelligent. He brings everything he has to his cases, which adds a human element to the frustrating process of workers' compensation cases. Super Attorney."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
