Daniel Michael Schafer

I hired Mr. Schafer , the first time, about 2 years ago when I was being harassed and bullied by a debt collection agency. Since then, he has handled 3 debt collection cases for me. He thoroughly explained what he was going to do to represent me in court. He did exactly what he said he would do in ea...ch case. I am extremely satisfied with each outcome. He kept me informed about everything in every case. Anytime I had a question, he returned my call quickly. My wife and I received notice from a bank that we were being sued. They had purchased some debt of ours 2 or 3 times removed. Since we were in the middle of also fighting foreclosure, it was not something we could take on ourselves, so we hired Michael to handle it for us. He provided the plan to winning the case and dealing with the underhanded and illegal tactics used by that company. Not only did that company settle out of court but I received a small settlement on top of having my credit restored. He has gone as far as taking phone calls from me, even with his busy schedule and given me advice regarding other legal matters where he had no interest. He recommended other lawyers that were versed in other areas of law when he could not himself help me. Mr. Schafer is an excellent lawyer but an even better human being who genuinely cares about others regardless of what he can get out of them.
