also known as Amy Beth Clark Downing, f.k.a. Amy Clark Kleinpeter
In 2024, Amy Beth Clark joined The Debt Defenders by Ciment Law Firm, PLLC . She is excited to have a large team of like-minded people to work with in pursuit of justice and resolutions.
Amy Beth works with consumers in bankruptcy who have student loans or need assistance with collectors who are harassing them despite the bankruptcy. She helps with credit report errors related to bankruptcy or otherwise.
Amy has always loved the bankruptcy system. The ten-year old in her who was always protesting, "That's not fair!" gets satisfaction from helping people overwhelmed with debt find a fair way to a fresh start. She also assists creditors with claims against businesses that file bankruptcy.
Student loans are a burden on so many, so Amy Beth has began providing counseling and representation on these as well. Finally in 2024, bankruptcy can provide a discharge of federal student loans for many people who have struggled with loans for over ten years and still have not made a dent in the principal.

I hired this lawyer about three months ago and I've only heard from her about two times concerning my case. I'm very dissaponted as to how my case has been handled. Unfortunately I have no idea who you are. It is possible you were a potential client who's claims I was reviewing and I apologize that you felt ignored. 2015 I was out for a disability and working very few hours but it is never my intention to make anyone feel ignored. I hope you found an attorney to take your perspective claims.

We'd recommend Amy to anyone wanting to legally defend their consumer righ...

When I came to her with my case, she was intrigued and thought we had a winner. A few months later, I saw the first communications she sent to the would-be plaintiff. I was happy to receive copies of the letters she sent them. She sounded tough and determined. The deadlines she gave them to settl...
I am sorry you did not trust my judgment on the facts of your case. I hope that you found a satisfactory resolution to your issue. It is always frustrating when the law does not cover all inequities.

I had the misfortune of a collection agency denting my credit report with debt that I did not owe. Although the amount was not huge, the implication of collections being reported to the bureau was a nightmare. I turned to Amy for help and she alleviated my panic and anxiety, prepared a strong case an...
