Sean G. Whittmore graduated with a B.A. in History from Texas A&M University in 2005. Following his graduation from Texas A&M, he followed in his family footsteps as a fourth-generation graduate of Washburn University Schoold Of Law in Topeka, KS.
While in law school, Sean began his career in criminal law clerking for the District Court Judges of the Eight Judicial District of Kansas. He then began practicing criminal law as an intern with the Washburn Law Clinic, where he represented indigent clients in the courts of Shawnee County, KS. Sean then interned with the Kansas Appellate Defender Office through the Washburn Law Clinic drafting appeals for indigent his early defense work, Sean began working as an intern prosecutor with the Shawnee County District Attorney's Office where he prosecuted misdemeanor offenses.
After passing the Texas bar, Sean worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Montgomery County District Attorney's office for two and a half years. There he prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases and gained valuable insight into how prosecutors evalaute and prepare their cases for trial.
Following leaving the DA's office, Sean worked for Stephen Jackson at the Law Offices of Stephen D. Jackson & Associates before forming his own practice, the Whittmore Law Firm.

My boyfriend was charged with unlawful use of a firearm in the city limits of Conroe ,Tx. For defending his friend from being cold blooded murdered in front of him and went through a year of bullshit but Sean was with us the whole time keeping us up to date on everything finally the day come 04-08-20...
