Kate represented me for a class B misdemeanor for theft. I am a professional in the medical field and am a mother of two. I have never done anything so careless in my life. This was truly such a stupid and irresponsible crime to commit and I have no excuses for my behavior. I am grateful for her vast experience. Everything she advised me on was correct and everything took place in a very timely manner. So not only did I receive a year probation (so no jail time), but I also used her service again to file for an expunction to clear this off my record for good. That process only took 2 months. Kate is a woman of her word. She is straightforward, blunt, and honest..but always maintains a compassionate heart. In this past 16 months she has represented me, I've only had to meet with her 3 times. She was always very good about keeping me informed of what was going on and always responded to my emails within 2 hours at the most. I never felt neglected or like an unimportant client. Erika, the office manager, was also always quite helpful, professional, and prompt with responding to my questions as concerns. Obviously I hope to never need Kate's services again, but if I ever have a loved one or friend that needs an attorney, I will without hesitation recommend Kate. She was truly a blessing during this dark time for me. I finally feel like the worst is behind me, and I certainly owe Kate for her expertise and compassion.

I contacted Ms Shipman after a short research for an attorney experienced in my kind of case. I am so very glad I found her. She was forthright and informative. She took my case and did everything she said she'd do and a lot more. She successfully negotiated an outcome that was so surprisingly favora...ble I was stunned; and it could easily have been so bad.
