John William Ghezzi

During law school, John was the Senior Research Editor for the Florida Law Review from 1990-1991. Upon graduation, he received a prestigious federal clerkship and gained valuable courtroom experience working for United States District Judge Federico A. Moreno in the Southern District of Florida.

For his first ten years in private practice, John worked for a high powered Houston litigation boutique and prominent national law firm where he defended several Fortune 50 companies as national and regional counsel in cases involving personal injury, toxic torts, mass torts, dangerous drugs and medical devices, and products liability. John also successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in claims stemming from breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, deceptive trade practices, and employment discrimination.

In 2003, John realized he was better suited to representing only personal injury victims. For the last thirteen years of his private practice, John has concentrated his practice on persons who have sustained serious bodily injury or economic loss as a result of the negligence of another person or corporation, exposure to a dangerous drug or harmful chemical, defective products, automobile accidents, workplace incidents, unsafe premises conditions, unfair or deceptive insurance practices and employment discrimination.

John also handles family law cases (divorce, custody, child support, modifications and enforcements) and criminal defense (DWI, assault, theft, public intoxication, drug possession, criminal mischief).

In his spare time, John likes spending time with his wife and three children, traveling, camping, and reading.
