My husband had been planning to adopt my daughter. We spoke to Sherry Tavel about the adoption process, and she was very knowledgeable. She was able to explain the each step, and tell us what we were going to need up front. It was comforting to have her on our side. I met with and retained Sherry Tavel at the end of March 2015. At that time I was asking her to represent me in a divorce case. The reason for filing was my wife had assaulted me with bodily injury and she was arrested. However, being a vengeful person who can not accept responsibility for her own... actions filed for a permanent protective order against me. This could have been a very haunting experience that would last a lifetime. Sherry directed me to get all the facts, data, facebook postings and witnesses I could acquire. She even went so far as to make a phone call to one witness. I got busy and did my part for Sherry getting the requested information she had requested. I met with her and we went over it all. In court, my ex tried to claim that the reason she beat me was because I had hit her in the knee. Sherry was able to ask all the right questions and the judge could quickly see that the information my wife was giving had no validity. He began to question her and she was very confused. The protective order was denied. I cannot thank Sherry and her staff enough. They were all aware of my case and they could answer questions and would always follow up. I would highly recommend Sherry to anyone.

Mrs. Tavel and staff were very helpful! I had a child custody case. The other parent lives in a different state and had not seen the child in 2 years, Mrs.Tavel helped me feet agilmanaging custody. It took a couple months and in the end I got exactly what I wanted. Mrs Tavel and staff were on top o...f everything, calling me everytime there was a change or anything. I'm very satisfied!
