Excellent attorney, kind, personable and highly skilled.

Having a very strict deadline with the courts and trying to find an attorney who could help me, after about 2 dozen phone calls I had just about given up. I was given Mr. Wathen contact info as a referral. I immediately contacted him and even with the deadline and complexity of my case he jumped right on it. With only a couple of days left he was in full swing, this man is everything you want in an attorney. I have never seen someone put together very lengthy extremely detailed accurate legal documents as fast as Mr. Wathen, I have to admit, seeing the result of his work and watching him in action was a humbling experience. If I could give 6 stars I would, but if you want the best this is the man to hire.

Alex Wathen comes from a family of Catholic Kentucky bourbon makers. Some of his relatives still make Wathen's Kentucky Bourbon. Alex has taken on a much more global perspective and likes to learn and experience new cultures and people in different parts of the world. He also speaks French, Spanish, and Swedish. Although having received some education in Europe, Alex is a great believer in our educational system in the United States. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Southern California, his M.L.S. degree from the University of North Texas, and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota. He has also taken classes at various other colleges and universities to enrich himself. Alex has continued his commitment to education as a lawyer. He speaks at several continuing legal education conferences each year throughout Texas and in Mexico. Alex believes that good colleges are not the ones who educate you, but teach you how to educate yourself.

Hard worker amazing knowledge!

Alex Wathan is the best! His knowledge and work ethic is over the top. I can not express my appreciation for real life after bankruptcy. My case was very complicated and overwhelming to me. best attorney i ever met

alex has been there for me since 2005 than we had little trouble and he helped me again he has been there for me ever since. i have never met an attorney so well proformed and well maintained he'll go all the way to help you i found the best attorney ever and still will be there when i need him

Helped In A Difficult Situation

After a failed business venture I found myself in the worst situation possible. I talked to a couple of lawyers and did not think it was possible to get out from under the situation or it would be after many years. I found Alex on the internet and I stopped by Alex Wathen's office after 6:00 PM to see where it was. Not only was he still working he stopped what he was doing made time for me and counseled me on my options. For the first time someone listed to me and actually asked the right questions. He believed it would take months not years to help me through the legal process. A couple of weeks later on a Saturday morning he filed my case. Three months later it was over and I had a fresh start in my life. He explained what to expect, made sure all the filings were complete and answered every question I had. If he did not answer the phone immediately he usually called back the same day. I always knew what was going on but even better Alex Wathen did.

Best Bankruptcy Lawyer

Alex Wathen was my bankruptcy atty. During a very hard time in my life i had to make some tough decisions. I found Alex over the internet and truley knowing what to expect I made an appt with him to discuss my sistuation. He was very professional and prompt in getting everything that I needed and making sure that I was taken care of to the best of his ability. Having experience in the legal field my self as a paralegal I was fimilar to some extent to the legal aspect of how things work. However, my field of expertise was in a completely different field from his. He walked me through every step and made sure I completely understood everything that was going on. When I called he answered and always made me fell as if I were his only client. Because of Alex I was able to get out of the sistuation that I was in and keep my bankruptcy plan as well. I would recommend him to anyone he is a great atty and he definetly knows what he is doing. I always say that "your in hood hands" with Alex Wathen.
