DISMISSED...The best word I have heard in a year!! After the long, dragged out process of the Harris County criminal courts, Tyler Flood beat my case. It's scary without a doubt and I know that anyone who is reading this now will be feeling tons of emotions and hoping for someone to be on their side.... Now, I can tell you, "Don't worry!" These are the same words Tyler said to me and believing in that was hard under these circumstances, but believe me, he really knows what he is doing. He is the EXPERT on this kind of case by far and you will be impressed! In quick detail about my experience, it started out with my first meeting with an associate on a Sunday (a great help for those who have to work during the week). The team gather your information, details, etc. You will feel it's tedious but it is necessary; he does need to know everything because he will use it all against the prosecutor. If I had a question, I can talk to someone very quickly. James and Justin (associates) are great to make you feel at ease, and you'll need this throughout this process of court resets, etc. Until the day of trial (which you do want your day in court because I have seen it now with my own eyes on how many mistakes the police, prosecutors, and all the in-between do!), that's when Tyler and Andrea (the best paralegal) come in completely prepared and ready to go! Tyler did not give up and challenged everything and DID NOT BACK DOWN. In the end, it was dismissed and we all hugged each other from joy. Tyler, Andrea, Justin and James... thank you, thank you! My case involved a car accident and a blood draw with a BAC over .15 after refusing to submit to both breath and blood. Thankfully, no other vehicle was involved, and no one was hurt. Tyler Flood, being the confident and excellent litigator that he is, took my case to trial after us being denied Pre-...Trial Diversion, and had my case dismissed after being in trial for maybe 3 hours total over 2 days. Tyler Motioned to Suppress on grounds of an unreasonably lengthy detention period where no DWI investigation occurred or was even in the works. Tyler had a convincing argument for the judge who eventually granted the motion. Thus, all evidence (video, blood draw, SFSTs, etc) collected at or after the incident could not be used against me. The State decided to dismiss the case 5 minutes after the Motion to Suppress was granted since it became self-evident that they could not meet the burden of proof. I am forever grateful to Tyler Flood. He saves the lives of good and innocent people by protecting our rights in a system that gets harsher and more unfair everyday. One thing I will add is that Tyler's trial law skills are unlike anybody I have ever seen, heard or even read about. He is phenomenal in the courtroom, and I wholeheartedly recommend Tyler to anybody who finds themselves in an unforgiving situation due to unjust protocol. Thank you so much, Tyler.
