Joe was a Felony Chief Prosecutor for four years, training other felony prosecutors how to try criminal cases. Joe also taught over 500 Houston and Tomball Police Officers various aspects of criminal law including the complex area of Arrest, Search, and Seizure. Several times throughout his career, other lawyers have called on Joe Vinas to teach Continuing Legal Education courses on criminal law. For two years, Joe volunteered in the Harris County S.T.A.R.
