Tim Powers - Fantastic Lawyer

I was falsely arrested for a DWI in Flower Mound. After being inundated with advertisement letters, I spoke to three attorneys in the area about my case. I tried to select carefully and chose the one that predicted the best outcome for my case. After a couple of months, it was obvious this attorne...y was all fluff and no substance. He told me the best I could get was probation and tried to talk me into pleading guilty .I had lost all confidence in him and also found out he had been fired from the DA’s office about a year earlier. I then hired Tim Powers. Tim and his office were spectacular. It took months to get the result I wanted. The Law Office of Tim Powers believed in me any my case and I finally received the dismissal I deserved. Fantastic team.

Could't have asked for a better result

I really appreciate all that Tim Powers and his law office did for me with my drug case. I’ve listened to some real horror stories about the lack of representation by some attorneys - especially in Denton County. I’m so very fortunate that my brother brought me to his firm. That the representation h...ey gave me was excellent. I realize that the respect that the D.A. has for Tim and his office is the reason for the leniency that I was given. He also took the time to explain everything to me despite my unfamiliarity with the legal system. It is unusual to me for someone I’ve known for such a short time to show me the kindness that Tim Powers and the staff at his office showed me. My case is now closed, I have no criminal record and everything is clear. But I will forever be thankful that Tim fought hard to get me a good result that would not plague me forever.

Honest evaluation- perfect result.

I was in a “tight spot” — already indicted for a felony assault case. I saw several attorneys, but Tim Powers calmly assessed, analyzed, and concluded it was possible to beat the case, in spite of the odds against us. The thing I really respected about Tim was the fact that he was very blunt and ot ...the point. No sugar candy coating, no lies. In a criminal case, odds are against one who is arrested in Denton County. It took a lot of effort, but needless to say …… WE WON! And with flying colors. I’ve talked to a few lawyer friends of mine, and they have NEVER heard of a D.A. giving up on an INDICTMENT to go back to the Grand Jury. Tim was recommended to me by another attorney. Said you were HONEST. He was absolutely correct. He also said you were one of, if not, the FINEST criminal attorney in Denton County. I found that to be correct. Anyone who is reading this should know that you and your firm are the BEST in Denton County. He operates with skill and INTEGRITY second to none. If someone is looking for an attorney who will patronize them and lie to them, then the Tim Powers office is not for you. My case was unique and quite complex, There were a lot of bumps in the road throughout our one and a half years in the process. In the end result my case was dismissed and I have my life back. I hope I will never be involved in another criminal case again. But if I am, I am only going one place for representation.

Fantastic DWI Representation

I was arrested for a felony DWI in Lewisville, Texas about 8 months ago. The best thing I could have done was select the Law Offices of Tim Powers for representation in my DWI felony case. I was potentially facing a serious prison sentence. There were a number of issues in my case but the most imp...ortant was one I never noticed. Tim and I watched the video several times and he noted from a 2nd officer's video there was no legal reason that I should have been stopped. The case was recently dismissed and I have my life back. It was well worth the money. His office did a great job for me. It seemed to take forever, however, I guess the good results always do. They will always have my thanks.

Denton County Criminal Lawyer Tim Powers

Tim Powers is absolutely the best attorney in Denton County. I recently had an felony assault case. Tim and his staff went over the facts and found issues that just amazed me. On Friday the case was dismissed. The stress of the arrest was insurmountable, however, I can breathe a huge sigh of relief n...ow that the Law Office of Tim Powers was able to get a dismissal for me. Considering the state was offering 5 years TDC, I couldn't be happier. Hopefully I won't have criminal law issues again, however, when I do there is only one place to turn in Denton County. Tim Powers did a fantastic job for me. His office is somewhat more expensive than some other firms -- but the results they get are well worth the expense. Tim Powers kept me out of prison.
