Don't Be Fooled He Talks Big Delivers Nothing

This has been the worst experience of my life Mark Lane added to my Fears instead of fight for me I would call and ask questions and tell them that I was afraid that he wouldn't do what he should for me. They acted like I was bothering them instead of reassuring me. They never returned my calls he ev...en pushed me off on another lawyer that was worthless. I wouldn't even recommend him to my enemy. He will make you think he is going to do everything for you when you go into your first meeting after that I didn't hear from him or see him no calls nothing! All I got was a message telling me when my court dates were. I would call crying they would promise to call me back then never call me back. Don't waste your money cause that's all he cares about is taking your money for doing nothing! Try to get your spouse to hire him then you will be sure to get what you want without even trying Mark Lane will make sure that your spouse will lose!

Works well with others

I hired Mark as my attorney on the reference of a family friend. My case was a child custody case and pretty complicated- I thought it was hopeless but in our initial meeting, Mark saw some things he could work with. Overall, the staff was very helpful. Yes it was frustrating not hearing things when ...I wanted, but they explained to me that they have to wait for answers from the actual court and just didn't want to make empty promises so I understood that. The case went well and I am very happy with the results. I would recommend Mark Lane to anyone looking for a good lawyer who can get the job done.

Great!! Great!! Great!!

The office staff was very pleasant to work with. While Mark is a very busy lawyer, I never felt my case had been neglected. It may have taken a few days to have questions answered with definate answers, but someone was always sure to contact me. I appreciated the respect and professionalism of the st...aff and would recommened them to any person looking to hire a great family law attorney.

Most trustworthy lawyer I could find

I recently hired Mark to handle my case. He has done extremely well being prompt and punctual to all court dates and meetings. He and his staff have informed me of all dates within reasonable time. Ive never been left guessing when it comes to my case. I would definately recommend Mark Lane to anyone... who needs a good lawyer.

Taken advantage of...

by taken advantage of 05/10/2011 Where to start? I spoke with Mr. Lane and his wife the first week of April about representing my custody case, they seemed on point until I made my first payment! Literally in two months not ONE person has contacted me regarding my case. Any questions I had I ...emailed to Mr. Lane, which were few. A response time of 3 plus days was usually how long it took him to get back to me, completely unprofessional. My court date was exactly one week away when I emailed to ask Mr. Lane what I needed to bring to court, turns out when his wife called me back they didn't even know what precinct my case was being held at. Mr. Lane's wife then preceded to tell me he had another trial that day and would have to reschedule my case for a new date. I found this odd since I had given them both all the legal documents I had with the court date and precinct my hearing was at, so they overlooked this fact? I asked her to give me a time frame before rescheduling because I did not want to wait months for a new court date, no surprise I never heard back from her or anyone from the office. I then simply called the precinct and asked them to give me a tentative reschedule date to see if that's the route I wanted to take. Turns out it would take at least a month to get back in court and even that was unusually quick. I decided to call Mr. Lane's wife and tell her what they told me, she then placed me on hold and put Mr. Lane on the phone. He then basically told me that he was withdrawing himself from my case because I decided to go behind his back and call the precinct about the new rescheduling date, he also flat out told me that I was rude and he does not deal with clients of my type and that I had an attitude. I was very confused at this point because I had not requested to terminate him as my lawyer, I was just trying to find out when my new date would be. I was very polite when speaking to him and his wife, unfortunately I could not get one word in because Mr. Lane was short tempered and continually cut me off during the phone call. Before he hung up on me mid sentence, and yes that's exactly what he did lacking all professionalism, he told me he was going to calculate every minute and penny I owed him and charge me to the fullest...??? This confused me even more since they didn't even know where my case was being held and what the date was, so how could they have worked on my case at all? So in turn I say this, if you want to hire someone that just wants to take your money then go ahead, he's the guy for you. Personally I'd like someone with a little professionalism and class. Unfortunately I had to give him one star, I would give zero if I could.
