"Excuse me, you do this for a living??" She replied, "Yes, and I'm very good at what I do." I went to her office and everything was explained to me. How it works, how the opposing insurance company will try to pay nothing. We spoke of how the timing on my side works and how the opposition attorneys for the insurance company are instructed to act to create an untenable environment for the victim. Yes, you guessed it, the insurance companies lawyers are 100% trying to make your life hard so that you'll give up and demand that Dorothy settle your case. If you need a quick settlement, you'll get what you get and that's not Dorothy's fault or within her power to get you a large settlement. Call any local lawyer and ask them to get it handled quickly and you'll get a fraction of the potential settlement. Dorothy and I spoke of this in the consultation. She asked if I were willing to wait and let her do her work her way. To let the process fully play out. I was injured fairly significantly, rear ended in 5:00 traffic that obliterated the rear of my car. My knee was inside the dash and received a wicked whiplash as a cherry on top. Once she explained to me how the opposition operates, I signed with her. She put me under her letter of protection. Any doctor that I needed, any therapy or rehab that was required cost me exactly ZERO out of my pocket. I was on the mend and I didn't bother her with ANY of the "When am I getting paid?" garbage. Dorothy is a Barracuda...The Barbie Barracuda to be specific. When she had countered every legal maneuver they attempted and sent me to any and every specialist required to satisfy their case, she called me to her office. Upon arrival, she greeted me with an enormous smile and her first word were, "I knocked it out of the park for you!" She then thanked me for not giving up and for doing everything she had asked of me and explained that had I given up 1 day earlier than this particular day when they had ZERO bullets left in their gun, I would have given up my leverage. Now.. it was her turn to dictate the terms by which to settle the case. Knocked it out of the park? No... She launched it into the adjacent galaxy. I thought the check she handed me was the entirety of the settlement. That all the fees and the whatnot were to be taken from they check in my hand. I asked, "How much of this will end up being mine?" She said, "That's yours, all of it." Knock me over with a feather at this point in time. "Wait...WHAT???" She said, "Insurance companies use very dirty methods to outwait you. If you outwait them by doing everything I need you to do, doing all the things that make you whole again, by going to every specialist, crossing every 'T' and dotting every "i", while doing all the tasks and tests 'required' of you by the insurance companies for their records. They are now at our mercy, and they don't call me the Barbie Barracuda for nothing. I'm your lawyer and I know exactly where to hit them." She then again thanked me for allowing it to fully play out, again explaining that the one that blinks first gets screwed. I never blinked...and neither did my friend, Dorothy Hyde. I never spent 1 dime on a doctor or a rehab or a specialist. Not even 1 penny. PS. If you want a billion dollars on day 1, or if you are not able or capable of outwaiting the insurance companies... You'll get what you get. If you are going to press Dorothy to settle, you'll get what you get. It took months to settle, .....but don't be the one that blinks first.

I was hurt in Nov and in Feb at the very same spot because it was never fixed by matience and I had reported it from the time I moved in. I was hurt really bad the second time including a long term head injury scarring and nerve damage in my eye. Since medical was suppose to be part of the deal...I... begged for medical attention I was sent to a chiropractor a WEEK later! The Dr. They sent me too forgot me after telling me I needed an MRI and now I still have horrible headaches, dizzyness and my eye sags. Gravel pushed out of my temple 3 weeks ago. My incidents were incorrect in my file and I still have never met her and I never here were my case is.

Very in organize staffed very unprofessional staffed. Not once did I get to speak with Miss hide or see her throughout a whole year and a half that my case was active. Her office never contact me until it was time to see if I was done with therapy and if they released me to so they can start demandi...ng .She doesn’t care about your injuries or your health and she racks up your medical bills leaving you to pay for your treatment. Not only is she a barracuda to the insurance carriers she’s also one to her own clients!
