Dorothy Hyde

I had a horrible accident on December 31, 2018. I was going straight through a green light when a huge truck that was in the far right lane turned left when the light turned green across six lanes of traffic and t-boned me in the intersection. I MADE THE HORRIBLE MISTAKE OF HIRING DOROTHY HYDE AS MY ...ATTORNEY TO SETTLE THIS CASE. I HIRED HER 18 MONTHS AFTER THE ACCIDENT IN WHICH YOU HAVE TWO YEARS TO SETTLE THE CLAIM BY LAW IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. I PROVIDED HER FIRM AT LEAST 3 FT HIGH OF DOCUMENTS TO SUPPORT MY CASE THAT IT WAS CLEAR THAT I WAS NOT AT FAULT. I HAVE NEVER SPOKEN TO DOROTHY HYDE. AS OF TODAY, WHICH IS NOVEMBER THE 1ST, 2024 AND MY CASE IS STILL NOT SETTLED. AGAIN, MY ACCIDENT WAS DECEMBER 31, 1918!!! The accident is VERY CLEAR AS TO WHO WAS AT FAULT WHICH WAS THE BIG BLACK TRUCK THAT T-BONE ME WHILE I WAS GOING STRAIGHT THROUGH AN INTERSECTION. Dorothy Hyde still has not settled my automobile accident on December 31, 1998! I have never spoken with Dorothy Hyde. I should have settled this case on my own and I would have received plenty of money for pain and suffering that I went through on top of my car being damaged and will never be the same. DO NOT HIRE DOROTHY HYDE FOR YOUR ATTORNEY!!! YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED AND TRAPPED AS I AM. HER LICENSE TO PRACTICE LAW NEEDS TO BE TAKEN AWAY SO NO ONE ELSE WILL GO THROUGH WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH.

Dorothy has had one of my cases for almost 2 years now which was a slip and fall. I will be straight to the point. She's is lazy. I never hear from anyone at her firm regarding any follow-up on my child's case. When I did once the parallels confused my case with a another clients case! The last time... I spoke with in her own words she said that stated she would wait until the case has almost reached the statue of limitations and she would review it for possible litigation! I should have exposed her shady work a long time ago, but due to me being a loyal client I let her slide. The best thing the firm did was make sure my child went to their chiropractor everyday and did not miss a beat! Dorothy Hyde was the real MVP after she later stated "Well it was not like he had any broken bones". I missed lots of time from work and the accident happened on New Years Eve in a well known grocery store on camera! Even the clerks at the store offered more help than my hired attorney has. I even gave her a chance on another case during the same time which was an auto accident. My car was in the shop for 3 months and no one heard from her or anyone at her firm. I was smart enough to fire then on that case and I am so glad I did because as soon as I did I had action! Please take my advice and send this guppie into early retirement! From the looks of the real reviews she definitely needs it! ASAP! You're going to need more than luck if you hire this lady! Point blank period!

I have never witnessed a situation where EVERY BAD REVIEW was correct. But, never say never. Dorothy has had my case for 3 years. I gave her two easy car wreck cases. She dropped one -- after never sending my requested video evidence which I believe has been lost -- and attempted to screw me out of m...y money with the other. The remaining case was clear-cut: a guy hit my parked car twice with my two children fastened inside in their car seats and me leaning-in unfastening them. I figured that since a monkey could easily handle this one Dorothy could as well. I was wrong. After 3 years, I have not ever heard Dorothy's voice. I don't know what she sounds like. I have emailed her and called numerous times only to not receive any answer at all or speak with someone who couldn't tell me anything. With my 2nd case, Dorothy had one of the young girls from the front desk call me today and tell me -- without laughing -- what my accepted settlement would be. Even though, Dorothy never called to tell me about any settlement offer. I am still wondering how she's going to accept a settlement for my case without my acceptance first. Moreover, the young girl further stated -- also without laughing -- the downright exorbitant attorney's fees Dorothy is charging on this case which never had a threat of going to trial and involved no extraordinary circumstances. I'm not taking this lying down as I'm sure they banked on. I will be contacting the Texas State Bar Association. There has been a lot of unscrupulous activity going on and we'll get to the bottom of it. Is this how lawyers are supposed to operate? Ignore you for 3 years then merely call after the 3 years are up and tell you what you're going to get then act as if you have no choice even after you expressly convey that you disagree? There is no way on God's green earth that any of the good reviews are from people who actually had or have a case with Dorothy Hyde. Perhaps, if we could lay off of the Plastic Surgery we could focus more on becoming a reputable lawyer, Dorothy Mulcihy Hyde. But, if your firm doesn't fix this before I take action, we'll wish we had done better.
