I was charged with my first DWI (first criminal charge ever). I was scared & didn't know what to expect. Carl and Sandy (his paralegal) walked me through everything, kept me to up date every step of the way and were always so responsive to every single text or email. This included the countless em...ails I would send to let them know how nervous I was about the penalty I would receive. Its clear they take every case serious and care about their clients. While I opted not to go to trial, I was fortunate enough to get Carl to negotiate a very reasonable penalty for me. He is well respected in Collin County court (various employees would tell me what a great lawyer he was when I would mention he was my attorney as did my bail bond company). I met with a few attorneys before I decided to go with Carl and couldn't be happier with my decision. I will be rehiring him to work to remove the charge from my record when time permits. Sandy and Carl go above and beyond for their clients. I had a state jail felony for a wax pen, they were able to help me change my whole life around by getting me into the pre trial diversion program. I even had priors, which i personally feel like i would not have been able to be accepted into the p...rogram without their help! They have done so much for me to help me improve my life, I 100% recommend them to anyone in any kind of drug/alcohol charges! I want to start off my review by thanking Carl and Sandy from the bottom of my heart in regards to my case results in Collin County. Thank you guys for going being there with me every step of the way. I was facing my 3rd DWI in Colin County along with a probation revocation in Dallas county for getti...ng arrested while on Felony probation from 2012. To say I was worried about the outcome is an understatement. I knew I was going to jail and probably going to be in there for a while. But Carl assured me month over month that we had nothing to worry about and that probation was on the table as a plea offer. So if you know anything about Collin County than you should know that they throw the book at you even if it is your first DWI with no prior convictions. In less than 10 months total from the date of my 3rd DWI Carl was able to negotiate a deal of 4 years probation along with other court conditions and 10 days county jail (mandatory by the state on DWI 3rd) On top of that he was able to approve me to go on the weekends and complete those 10 days over the following weekends versus back to back and miss out on work. I don't know how we were able to get the outcome we did but I will forever be grateful to Carl. You get what you pay for and you get the best results with Carl and Sandy by your side. Words cannot explain how much Sandy has made this process that much easier. She is on top of everything and always makes sure you are up to date on everything regarding your case. She is a blessing in disguise and truly cares about you and your case on a personal level. Thank you guys for everything you both have done for my family and I. Worth every penny in my book and highly recommended to anyone in need of DWI legal team.

It has taken me awhile to write this review, but it was because I wanted to do a good job. Carl represented me in two cases in Dallas County. I was referred to him through a family member of mine who knew him. Upon his advice, we proceeded to a jury trial on both charges. I honestly felt like I was N...ot Guilty - but I soon learned the DA's and the criminal justice system simply doesn't care. Regardless, I decided early on to put my trust in Carl and his team, and let them be the director and just tell me what to do. We ended up going to trial on the cases, and it was clear that not only does Carl put an immense amount of effort and time into preparing for trial, but he also is very skilled and experienced. He is very good at bonding with jurors, and is smooth in presentation and not abrasive. I didn't want to testify, but ultimately he convinced me to. I was elated when the jury returned a not guilty judgment on BOTH counts! Carl was very honest with me up front, all the way up to when the jury was deliberating - that he felt it was probably 50/50 that we get a Not Guilty on one, but we may end up with a guilty on the other. He was very realistic about the entire situation. One of the cases he thought we had slightly a lower chance of being able to achieve an acquittal. He was wonderful, and I was so very happy after it was all over. I trusted him, his advice, and in his team - and it worked out well in the end. I will add I was dismayed generally speaking at how our justice system works, and did my best to tell the Judge of the court and the DA's who did their part in the jury trial how they have the power to absolutely ruin lives...and it is TRUE! Even still, I was thrilled at the result, and in the end - I am glad I just put my faith in Carl and let him do his job. He is clearly passionate about his work and puts a great deal of effort into making sure everything is done right. This happened last year, and it took me some time to write this - but it was because I wanted to make sure I did it justice in comparison to how thankful I am, and the job he did for me. Obviously one hopes they will never need one - but if you find yourself arrested, I would highly recommend Carl and his office. 5 stars ++++

Carl fought my DWI case . He is truly one of the nice and transparent lawyer. He is , honest , lays the facts out straight up, He suggested the right options at the right time based on the direction my case was going into. Acted promptly and took no time to decide that the jury meeting might have a n...egative effect ..so suggested to go for second drug test which came out to be much lower that what it was initially recorded. Carl decided to go for judge trial and he was right on , on this decision. Went for straight judge trial, won the case and was found not guilty. Carl is a very kind human being . He always tries to represent the true picture of the case. He will give you the pros and cons and let you decide which way you would like to go . Overall he works with you but at the same time when it comes to be a little strong in his point of view he will approach you directly and give you the hard facts of your case. I would recommend Carl with no doubt who is looking for a genuine DWI lawyer.
