Biography
Ms. Smith presently handles complex real estate transactions and assists with real estate development projects for area investors. She was formerly Associate Counsel and Vice President of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company in Phoenix, Arizona and prior to that she was President of WestStar National Title Company in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Smith, a graduate of the University of Texas, Dallas and a cum laude graduate of John Marshall Law School, is admitted to practice law in the states of Texas, Arizona and Georgia. She has published several articles and is a frequent speaker before various groups on the subjects of real estate and title insurance. She currently serves on the Title Insurance Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association and on the Real Estate Forms Committee (which publishes the Texas Real Estate Forms Manual) of the State Bar of Texas.
