My husband took out his annuity to buy a house , which is different than early retirement. IRS had it down as early retirement and taxed us for half of what he took out! We went to Travis Watkins for help. They took his money and instead of helping they made it worse!!! Waste of money, they take it a...nd do absolutely nothing to help. Run away from this establishment!!!

I signed an agreement and paid the fee in April 2021. Information requested was sent in May of 21, called to check on status of my case in August of 22 nothing had been filed. Recieved an email requesting the same information again and I called their office to get clarification then emailed the finan...cial analyst to call me for clarification. The next week recieved an email that until information was sent in they suspending work on my tax case. I was confused because they had not done any work to begin with other than getting my information, power of attorney then sitting on it. So looks like I wasted 18 months and $4000 dollars and did not even get any paper work filled with the IRS.

We used Travis Watkins for our Federal taxes a few years ago and had a good experience. BUT when we paid them $3000 to handle our State taxes it has been a total sh*t show. It has been 16 months since we paid them. Not one single thing has been done. No replies to email, can't speak to anyone on the ...phone. No return calls when messages are left. The ONLY correspondence we have had was having to send our financials at least 3 times because they "lost" them. And had to fill out at least 3 POA's because of their turnover of employees. By the way, they not once contacted US to let us know that there was a new person on our case. Then my boss hired them as well (dumb, I know) and guess what!? Second verse, same as the first. He gets the same treatment that I did. Take the money and go into hiding. My guess is to actually get to speak to Travis Watkins is right up there with "no one sees the wizard, not no one, not no how".

we hired TW in may 2020 for back tax resolution for 10k that we didnt owe but have no proof ... the IRS didnt contact us for 5 yrs and then sent us a bill in 2020 for back taxes....? TW took our money and our info and ....didnt speak to us for 3 months ....we had to sign new POA's and basically s...tart over ---fast forward a yr later-- multiple emails, texts and phone calls to gloria ,mackenzie and maverick, ---NOTHING has been done!! had to sign 2 more rounds of POA's -- emailed gloria 05/06/21 ask her if wed been forgotten --she replied on 05/28/21 with the balance and we can get a payment plan started .....WE could have set up a payment plan with the IRS ourselves and saved thousands of dollars -Now we STILL owe the IRS 10K and we're OUT 1000k hiring them for WHAT? Something i could have done myself ---- oh but theyve continually emailed me monthy wanting to know if id like to pay fir my 2020 taxes to be done so i can avoid any issues with the IRS......REALLY.....DONT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! !!
