My practice focuses on criminal defense and representation in orders of protection, landlord evictions, and expungements. I spent 6 years as a prosecutor for the Madison County State's Attorney's office and bring that courtroom-intensive experience to my new practice.

From the very beginning I felt well taken care of. Mr. Sackett has been honest, reliable and informative about the Law. Guiding me step by step through the process. It's a great feeling to have someone fight for you in a situation where you cannot justifiably defend yourself. He has given me faith in...

Mr. Sackett represented me in a case involving a misdemeanor speeding charge last January. He was incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable in law and a great person to work with the entire time. I owe him a lot for his legal help, and would recommend his services to anyone in need.

I received a speeding ticket at the end of January, 2015, for speeding 32 mph over the 55 mph speed limit. After the new law that was passed in 2014, this would have put me in the Class B Misdemeanor category, which was terrifying. I called around to various traffic lawyers in my area, Jeremy bei...
"Jeremy is is a highly-respected lawyer in our community, as many other attorneys would say. I've worked on certain matters with Jeremy before, and I have also been opposing counsel to him. In each instance, he was very diligent as to his client's case, as well as being very respectful to all parties. I would highly recommend Jeremy Sackett."
"Jeremy and I were on opposite sides when he was a prosecutor, we even tried a Jury misdemeanor case with Judge Napp, and he was talented and fair. Since he has been in private practice we see each other and I am sure he is helping his clients in a meaningful way. I endorse this lawyer."
"I worked with Jeremy in the prosecutors office. Jeremy is well versed in the law and gives solid legal advise."
"Jeremy is an excellent attorney. He is experienced and knowledgable in his practice and works tirelessly for his clients. I have and will continue to recommend him to family and friends."
"Jeremy is a zealous advocate in Court, and will go out of his way to do what is right for his clients. He puts his clients before his own needs. He tackles cases through persistence and creativity. He has an innate understanding of the right evidence to put forth. He is also very quick to return calls, provide clients accurate information and candid advice. When we worked together on several matters, I trusted he would put his all into our case, and he exceeded that expectation. He shoots straight with clients, and does not tell them what they want to hear, but tells them the reality of the situation. His staff is kind, and pretty organized. I will refer cases to him for criminal matters without hesitation, knowing he will do his best to help the client."
"With his extensive experience as a former prosecutor, Jeremy fully understands the issues his clients face in court. Jeremy takes the time to understand each client's unique circumstances and develop a plan to move forward. I would strongly endorse Jeremy to anyone needing a defense attorney."
"Jeremy is truly an exceptional attorney. Not only does he provide outstanding legal representation in terms of knowing the letter of the law, he provides an empathetic ear that shows that he honestly cares about his clients' problems and concerns. I highly recommend hiring this lawyer."
"Attorney Sackett is a well respected attorney with a vast background and knowledge of the law. I endorse this lawyer."
