Biography
As an experienced trial attorney, Ryan has obtained multiple multimillion-dollar jury verdicts and settlements for his clients totaling over $40,000,000 in compensation. As a partner of national civil litigation firm, Ryan litigated cases throughout the Country acting as counsel in Wrongful Death and personal injury actions in eleven different States.
As a prosecutor, Ryan has obtained jury verdicts in homicide cases as both first and second chair. He also served as the head of the State’s Attorney’s Office’s Juvenile Delinquency Division, Post- Conviction Docket, and Drug Interdiction Taskforce. Ryan has acted as lead attorney on thousands of criminal offenses, ranging from DUIs to first-degree murder.
Ryan began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable David A. Hylla, former Chief Judge of Madison County, and intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Shortly thereafter, Ryan began working for a local worker’s compensation firm where he first discovered his passion for zealously advocating for his injured clients.
Not afraid of the courtroom, Ryan has extensive trial experience in both the civil and criminal context, having more than a dozen jury trials under his belt.
