A lawyer who actually cares.

I literally can't imagine a better attorney than Young Ri. How is it possible to top an attorney who not only understands the law but is attuned to its practical workings, carefully thinks through each step of the paperwork so that your case is truly customized, is available & responsive 24/7 if nec...essary, and has genuine empathy for her clients? She assisted our small business with an H1B visa request that meant a lot to me, and I knew from the first meeting with Young that our request couldn't be in better hands. The day I dropped off my final papers at her office, she joked that she would say a blessing over the submission before mailing it, and by then I was not far from believing she actually has a magic touch. By the end of the months-long process, though I was delighted with the positive outcome, I was honestly sad that my work with Young had come to an end . . . she had made a grueling legal maze almost fun to get through, and I knew I was going to miss her late-night emails & reassuring phone calls. Years later, I still do!! She is one of those joyful people who actually love & take pride in their work -- words often said, but rarely lived. If you become her client, then lucky for you, her expert care will be laser-focused 100% on your case, which means your chances for success just got a whole lot better.

Exceptional lawyer!

I remembered when I first called Young a year ago, I was nervous as to how to go about filing of our complicated case. I met her personally 6 months after the first phone call with my then girlfriend to discuss our case. She took a personal and heartfelt interest in our case and one can feel that she... prided herself on being an advocate for the clients she represents. She made immigration law, filing for the papers and what not so simple and direct to the point. She clearly explained to us during that first meeting what our options were and what her best recommendation was. She is never a person who will insist or pressure you to decide right then and there. We got married in August and Attorney Young filed for my wife's adjustment of status in September. The entire duration, she coached us on what we needed to do, what pertinent papers to prepare, kept us updated on the progress. I mean she was just so organized! She was so reassuring as well and you can feel a personal touch she gives to your case. She answers emails within the day, which is admirable for someone as busy as her. Even on weekends, she works her butt off for her clients and tries to work around your schedule. We've been to several lawyers before we met Attorney Young, nobody gave us that feeling that our case is something important and we are not just "clients." Yes, she gave us options before we decided to retain her service and believe me, we heard all those options before from other lawyers but nobody made us feel so welcome. Yes, immigration law is complicated and sensitive especially for the LGBT community but Young Ah Ri will set all those worries aside and give you her 200% to win your case. You'll face the immigration officer with confidence and peace of mind that you've come equipped, ready for the battle. My wife got her greencard even before this year ends, (in less than 4 months!) We are truly blessed to have Young as our lawyer. We will definitely employ her service again. There are a lot of immigration law experts out there, but are you willing to take the risk for mediocre ones who will not deliver, or will just take advantage of you?

Top Notch Immigration Attorney

My husband and I have been very grateful to have Young Ri as his immigration attorney. Not only is she kind, cheerful, and optimistic, she is knowledgeable and determined not to give up on your application. She is also extremely well prepared and collects all of the documents needed, and then some,... to build a solid case on your behalf. Young is very responsive and will even get back to you on the evening or weekend if need be as she wants to be reassuring and save you needless worry. On top of that, she is very human and we enjoyed working with her immensely. Top notch.

Would hire her all over again, absolutely phenomenal

What started as an almost fantasy, getting a green card for my foreign wife, has become reality thanks to Young Ah Ri. From initial consultation to getting a green card in the mail, Young was an absolutely invaluable part of our team. Her costs were extremely reasonable. For the amount of wor...k and hours she put into our case, I'm honestly surprised we didn't pay more. And honestly we would have gladly paid more. From start to finish, getting a green card is a Lot of paperwork and hassle. We read through some of the forms that needed to be filled out, and for some parts we honestly weren't sure what to put in. If we were to do all the forms ourselves, I know for a fact we would have made many mistakes, possibly jeopardizing our whole green card case. When we hired Young, we got peace of mind that each i was dotted and every t was crossed properly. For something as important as a green card, we wanted someone who had been in the trenches and who knew how to do each step properly. Young was always very warm and personal when we spoke with her. While you could tell she was a fiercely strong lawyer, she also had a lot of compassion for us and made us feel like things were going to be okay. She wasn't fake-nice or robotic like you might get when hiring some professionals. She was both very competent and caring. The only thing that worried us about Young is actually a positive for her clients. We would email her and 5-10 minutes later we would get back a detailed response, whatever day of the week! She charged extra for her to be with us during the final immigration interview. This also included a 'mock interview' at her office that was invaluable for preparing us for the types of questions the immigration interviewer might ask. We would highly recommend also having Young come with you to the interview. Overall, my review is very glowing of Young and her services. This review is not paid for, I've not been coached to write any of this. In fact, I almost never write reviews online but Young really was outstanding in getting us our green card. Whatever reasonable rate she charged us was worth ten-fold for the ease of mind that came from having our forms filled properly, knowing what to expect, and holding our hand at each part of the process. We would hire her all over again, and will recommend her to anyone needing an immigration lawyer.

Highly recommended!

I had been advised that US Immigration law is quite complicated and as a result I would want to trust my application only to an attorney that specializes in this area of the law. I found such an attorney at the Law Offices of Young Ri. As a scientist working in a very specialized area of research, I ...have been employed during the past three years on an H1B Visa. The positive response to my research subject encouraged me to seek permanent residence status in the USA so that I could further develop my research here. However, having only been in the US for 3 years, I needed an highly qualified attorney familiar with specific requirements for a NIW application. Ms. Ri is a professional, compassionate and hardworking lawyer who understands science as well as law. She explained the stringent requirements of this permit and the process necessary to prepare and file a compelling case. Ms. Ri immersed herself in my past publications and presentations before she would evaluate my case. She advised me and then filed my case after concluding that I met the requirements of the NIW. Her thorough, realistic and proactive attitude throughout the case was remarkable. Ms. Ri is also very responsive to the emotional side of a difficult immigration process. She remained in touch with me throughout the process and always communicated with me herself, not through her secretary. Although I would like to think that my case was special, I believe that Ms. Ri handles each of her cases with this same degree of dedication and commitment. I was very excited the evening that she called to inform me that my case had been approved. Following the approval, it took only 3 weeks to receive my green card. I highly recommend the law offices of Young Ri.
