The Chapter 13 process was thoroughly explained to me and relatively easy to start. Following my meeting with Ms. Smith, I secured her firm’s representation. As she assured me that they could provide me with the relief that I needed. During the progression of my case I was assisted by another member of the Handelman firm, Attorney Jean Huang. Ms. Huang is a professional and competent lawyer who will represent you well. I encountered some issues during my 60 month repayment plan. Nonetheless, Ms. Huang was always there to offer a remedy to get me back on track and avoid my case being dismissed. She was always responsive to any questions that I may have had and sensitive to my concerns. Ms. Huang’s follow up is impeccable, as she would correspond via email, telephone and mail to ensure you received proper notification. During the times that I struggled with maintaining payments, I was offered several options to avert a disaster. Ms. Huang, would petition the court on my behalf and defend me vigorously to ensure my success. In which her efforts were effective! As today I am elated to say that I have successfully completed the 60 month repayment plan! I am pleased with the representation that I’ve received from The Law offices of Stuart Handelman and would sincerely refer them to my friends/family who may find themselves in need of a honest, professional and competent law firm.
