Courtney wasn’t what I was expecting at all. She was so much better. She is intelligent, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. She understands family court and really tries to get you the most for the money you have to spend. For instance, when she prepares a motion, she requests that you come in and... complete them with her so you can ask questions and have a clear understanding of what is going on within the case; saving you valuable time and money. Although family court is a long process, she didn’t drag out court dates like some lawyers my family members have used. She worked well with the guardian ad litem to make sure each court date was efficiently utilized for the outcome that we were aiming for. I truly felt like she cared about what was going on with my family; and that alone meant everything. I highly suggest Courtney Mehta, at Henderson Law. If I ever have a family court case, I will not be using anyone else.

Courtney has been a great attorney since she was assigned to my case due to another attorney leaving Henderson Law. She picked up thoroughly right where the other left off. Mitchell Legal seemed great at first. Then they convinced me to upgrade to two lawyers, second one being Courtney, to provide better service which of course cost more. Then I hired a GAL of Courtney's liking to supposedly save me money and time on Courtneys billing hours to me. 3 months after hirin...g them and a good amount of money, communication got very difficult, including 2 months of no email replies to a temporary visitation order. When I did hear from them again about 5 months after being hired, Courtney gave me 5 days notice before leaving the firm. I was then left with the lawyer that failed to turn in paperwork to opposing counsel because he also quit the firm on me, and I almost got a contempt charge because of it.
