Biography

Mark P. Sutter is a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney. As an attorney and prosecutor for the State’s Attorney’s Office prior to entering private practice, Mr. Sutter personally tried over 350 combined civil and criminal bench and jury trials. He has also successfully argued numerous cases before the Illinois Appellate Courts. Since 2005, Mr. Sutter has applied his vast trial and negotiation skills to the cause of representing hundreds of victims of serious injury and wrongful death. As a former partner of Sutter & Ori, LLC and as the current CEO/Managing Member of the Sutter Law Group, LLC, Mr. Sutter has been highly successful in securing millions of dollars in awards for injured victims and their families. Mr. Sutter’s versatility, extraordinary courtroom experience, and success as a trial lawyer have also proven to be invaluable assets in areas of Workers Compensation, Auto/Motorcycle/Trucking accidents, Medical Malpractice, and State/Federal Criminal Defense. He actively pursues cases involving multiple legal disciplines, and he continues to be highly successful – ALWAYS achieving the best results for his clients. Mr. Sutter is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association as well as the Illinois State Bar Association. He is also an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Federal Trial Bar. Mr. Sutter earned his degree from The DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, and was previously educated at Arizona State University and Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois. Mr. Sutter is an active participant and contributor to many philanthropic and fund-raising events. He is also passionate about youth sports, serving as a coach and mentor to many children in his community. Mr. Sutter is married and has three children.

He's has your Back!! Great Lawyer..

I hired Mark to represent my son who was arrested on what I believed shouldn't have even happened that involved someone that we've known for 20 plus years. Mark reviewed all the information I provided to him as well as the info that he got on his own. We all agreed my son did say somethings out of a...nger/hurt but this arrest was not necessary, it was a petty move on the plaintiffs part. At court Mark stood his ground and did not accept anything less than what was best for my son the state's attorney wanted something that would not have benefited anybody other than the plaintiff and Mark said no that's not happening I was very impressed with him and his services. He was very kick to respond to emails, calls and texts too. I would highly recommend him not only as a defense lawyer from the reviews I've read he's also very good at malpractice so if you need a lawyer that's definitely going to have your back I would definitely call Mark Sutter

Great lawyer!!!

This man is on fire, and you need a lawyer who is confident and smart like Mark working on your side. I was expecting to get a conviction and mark saved my case .Honestly, I can’t imagine what would’ve happened had I not contacted mark. The second I called mark and told him I was pulled over for a DU...I he immediately and clearly told me what needed to be done And I let him do his great work.

Excellent lawyer

I called Mark on a Saturday morning in fear for my husband's situation he got into and I wouldn't hear from anyone that early on Saturday morning. He responded immediately and was honest the whole way thru. My husband's case was dismissed as I was assured he will do his best to get it that way.
