Biography

Mark P. Sutter is a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney. As an attorney and prosecutor for the State’s Attorney’s Office prior to entering private practice, Mr. Sutter personally tried over 350 combined civil and criminal bench and jury trials. He has also successfully argued numerous cases before the Illinois Appellate Courts. Since 2005, Mr. Sutter has applied his vast trial and negotiation skills to the cause of representing hundreds of victims of serious injury and wrongful death. As a former partner of Sutter & Ori, LLC and as the current CEO/Managing Member of the Sutter Law Group, LLC, Mr. Sutter has been highly successful in securing millions of dollars in awards for injured victims and their families. Mr. Sutter’s versatility, extraordinary courtroom experience, and success as a trial lawyer have also proven to be invaluable assets in areas of Workers Compensation, Auto/Motorcycle/Trucking accidents, Medical Malpractice, and State/Federal Criminal Defense. He actively pursues cases involving multiple legal disciplines, and he continues to be highly successful – ALWAYS achieving the best results for his clients. Mr. Sutter regularly appears in the Illinois State and Federal courts and continues to represent clients in legal matters throughout the United States. Mr. Sutter is widely recognized by his peers and opponents as a highly talented and fierce litigator.

Mr. Sutter is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association as well as the Illinois State Bar Association. He is also an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Federal Trial Bar. Mr. Sutter earned his degree from The DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, and was previously educated at Arizona State University and Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois. Mr. Sutter is an active participant and contributor to many philanthropic and fund-raising events. He is also passionate about youth sports, serving as a coach and mentor to many children in his community. Mr. Sutter is married and has three children.

A Really Good Attorney

He is the best attorney I ever had the experience to work with, he is very honest man and attorney,

I have used mr Sutter on all my needs in a court room he has never lied to me of fabricated the truth, he will definitely tell you were you stand with you case. But the best thing about Mr Sutter, is he knows the law, and he knows the law in detail. He a phenomenal negotiator and litigator. The best... I ever seen, my last case I was in really bad situation, I was definitely facing jail time, he got the case discharged and dismissed, . The Best. Period.

I wish I could boast I've only required Mark's services one time (not the case) but I keep coming back for a reason. Nobody better. Nobody more congenial. And an Assassin in the Courtroom. Highly recommend.

Worked a miracle for me!

Mark worked a miracle for me in court. I could not believe what he accomplished in under 5 minutes standing before the judge by my side.
