Michael Watkins was a fantastic attorney to help us close on our first home purchase. His costs were very reasonable in comparison to other attorneys providing similar services. From the beginning when we were just starting to narrow down houses online to visit he gave us valuable advice which includ...ed his professional opinion on the price (which in the end helped with negotiating a lower final price) and location of the home, what to be aware of with regards to property taxes, and how to proceed with an effective home inspection among other things. He always responded to emails or phone calls within the same day (usually within a few hours) This seemed to be in stark contrast to the seller's attorney, which made us even more grateful to have Michael representing our family. After the inspection report was completed, Michael was very effective in negotiating costs of repairs. To those who have purchased a house, you know the closing is almost two hours of reading and signing forms. Even with this being our first closing, Michael made us feel very confident and we were grateful to have him walk us through each of the forms in an easy to understand way while answering all of my questions. Overall, Michael was the best attorney we could have hoped for, his support, patience, and expertise made the process not only easier, but also enjoyable. I should also add, his fees amounted to very little when compared to the money he saved us with negotiating the final closing price.
