He Combines Compassion With Competence

I gladly write this review of my experience with Michael Goldberg. He was very kind, attentive and extraordinarily helpful throughout the long, arduous and painful months it took my daughter and I to settle the estate of my wife who died of cancer in July, 2017. Mike Goldberg makes life easier!

As Mike Goldberg said to us, he helps people "tie up loose ends while they can still make a knot." My wife and I are expecting a baby in a few months and wanted to get a will and trust set up before the baby's arrival. Mike was thoroughly helpful and diligent in helping us protect the well-being of... our future child, mitigate our tax liability, and make life easier for our whole family in the event of our untimely demise. Also worth mentioning, Mike's fee was disclosed upfront. We did not get a surprise invoice later with some random billable hours. We knew exactly how much we were going to spend with Mike before any of the work began. To me, this made the whole experience easier and more productive. Thanks Mike!

Estate planning

Michael did a great job stepping me through my options of doing a will of a trust. He let me know the differences so I felt confident in the choice I made. He made the whole process very easy.

Thorough and thoughtful service for first home (condo unit) purchase

I'm so grateful that Michael was my attorney for my condo purchase. As a first-time homebuyer, there was a lot I didn't know about how the process worked and what to expect. Michael was helpful in terms of keeping me updated on what was happening and what was reasonable to expect of the seller and se...ller's attorney, including negotiations with the seller about repairs; what the building's condominium association needed from me, what to expect from them, and whether the HOA had any special assessments, lawsuits, or other notable circumstances; setting up the actual closing; and everything else that came up from the time my offer was accepted, all the way up to (and after) closing on the sale. At the closing, he explained what each document I was signing was, and he was thorough and patient answering my questions. Having Michael as my attorney for this purchase really offered exceptional peace of mind; his knowledge and guidance helped me to feel comfortable and informed every step of the way.
