Cary Dohman obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated cum laude from The John Marshall Law School. For every year from 2017 to 2021, Cary has been named as one of the "10 Best Attorneys" in Illinois in DUI/DWI Defense by the American Institute of DUI/DWI Attorneys. In each of the five past years (2017-2021), Cary has also been selected as a "Rising Star" by SuperLawyers, an honor given to less than 3% of attorneys in Illinois. Dui case

I hired Cary for a dui in 2019. Due to covid, the case got continued until February 2021. He never promised what the end result would be, but explained what could or couldn't happen. He didn't charge me more due to the constant continuances, and ALWAYS returned my calls and texts! The final result was amazing! He did a great job! I would definitely HIRE CARY!! We won at trial!

Cary Dohman represented me on a DUI case that went to trial and I was found not guilty! He was very reasonably price and despite my case being prolonged he did not adjust or increase his rates. Cary did an excellent job explaining the process and potential verdicts/outcomes. I was very impressed by his ability to cross-examine the two police officers which I think ultimately reveal some important facts that helped my case. I would 100% recommend Cary.

Very helpful

Professional

Best Lawyer!!! I have a CDL and was driving 60/30 and got DUI.He saved my CDL and my job! Always answered my questions and he was very professional and explained me everything step after step. DUI case

Carrie was a very professional positive attorney in my case. I had an encounter with Rolling Meadows police department regarding a traffic stop about driving while impaired l. This was the first time in my life I faced something like this and was very scared, worried, and confused about every thing due to the Rolling meadows police department not being honest with my case. My job was on the line and when I was losing hope it all came back when I contacted Mr. Dohman which he answered right away. Carrie handled my case well and always behaved in a well mannered way to keep feeling comfortable. I do not like recommending lawyers for DUI cases because they are very stressing and discomforting situations; which I had to go through and would never want someone else having those times of difficulties but if you do Mr. Dohman is the man you want handling your case. I owe Carrie a lot and hopefully he can help anyone else who has a pending case like the one I had.

Excellent DUI attorney

I contacted Cary a day before I needed to be in court for a DUI related case. I had called several attorneys but Cary was the most responsive and easiest to talk to. We discussed the case and he helped me feel much less stressed over the whole process since he clearly knew what he was doing. I felt confident Cary was a good choice since he had so much experience in DUI cases and was familiar with the Rolling Meadows courthouse and everyone who worked there - I needed an attorney that knew how the judges and prosecutors would be thinking, and that's exactly what I got. Thanks to Cary I knew my case was in good hands, and we got it dismissed. Throughout the whole process he was communicative and answered all my questions promptly. Do yourself a favor, GET THIS LAWYER!

Cary is hands down one of the best DUI Attorneys in Cook County. The moment I consulted with him about a DUI charge in Cook County was the first time I felt somewhat at ease since the date of arrest. Excellent

Cary was phenominal at helping me through the process of a first time DUI; not only in advising and representing me, but also in making sure I understood evey aspect of what was going on. On top of that, the case went as well as absolutely possible, and I couldn’t be more thankful about the agreement with the judge. Before hiring Cary, he was the only lawyer I spoke to that didn’t give me a sales pitch after I said I was waiting to contact a few more options; in fact he encouraged that I speak to as many as possible before making a choice, so I found someone I was comfortable with. After hiring, he agreed to meet me as many times as I wished before a court date, and was always accessible by phone. I would recommend him to any one I know personally.

Special thanks

I was pulled over for dui. I was very worried about what would happen with my job & what would be on my record. Cary was the 1st lawyer to contact me. He called on a Sunday & met with me within the next day or two. We mapped out at plan & cary carried that plan out. I was able to get court supervision & the other three tickets were completely thrown out. He also save me $500 in fines from the state. Give Cary a call. His price is also the most reasonable.

mr. Cary Dohman is the ONLY attny to hire!!!

Let me explain why. We had at least 50 "ambulance chasing" attnys letters in the mail after my son got his second dui and a battery charge, we did not know what to do or who to hire, but after looking on the internet i was so impressed with his credentials we went with Cary. he was kind, sincere and very knowledgable about every aspect of the law.he kept my son from doing jail time for 3 offences. yes we hired him again for another problem.the DUI's and battery charges were dropped. we cant thank Mr. Cary Dohman enough!VERY professional and reasonable. Excellent results from an Excellent and Experienced lawyer!

I was charged with a Felony possession of controlled substance and misdemeanor DUI, needless to say I was very distraught since I was facing 1-3 years in prison, but Cary was able to me a special kind of probation for the felony (when completed the charge will not go on my record) and also got me court supervision for the DUI (which also will not go on my record!) He was always there to answer any questions I had and was very attentive to my case from beginning to end. I highly recommend Cary Dohman for any kind of charge you might get, as he is very experienced, honest, and knows the law inside and out. If you find yourself in a bad place like I was, Cary works extra hard for you and can work out a very favorable deal. I cannot recommend him enough and he will be my go-to lawyer for everything from here on out, he truly is a lifesaver!
