Well, I actually started my case with a public defender. But as we all know the Pc's job is to try and get the defendant to take a plea. All attorneys in K3 co. run together, so how do I receive a fair trial? Call Attorney O'Connor. Filled out a questionnaire online and within minutes got a call! I'm very impressed with his professional outlook on my case. Made sure I understood everything. I will leave another review as my case continues. Mind you, I'm scared outta my mind. Never had charges like this, but Attorney O'Connor made me feel better after speaking with him. And he didn't try to get thousands of dollars out of my account. In law school I clerked for the Homicide Task Force at Cook County Public Defender's Office and the DuPage County Public Defender's. I earned a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, an M.A. from Purdue University Calumet, and a B.A. from The University of Illinois at Chicago. I also served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and in the National Guard for 6. I am currently a member in good standing of the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage Bar Association, the Cook County Bar Association, and the National College for DUI Defense.

Overwhelmingly Pleased

The moment I sat down for my consultation, I knew I was in the right place. Mr. O'Connor was very detailed on the process of what could happen. Listed worst case scenario's and we discussed what my goals were for the outcome of the case. Peter walked me through every thing I could do to help my case, and I followed his guidelines. Thank you Mr O'Connor!

For roughly 3 months I was stressing out expecting the worst from my court case. Mr. O'Connor made the process so much more easier and helped me out! I'm incredibly thankful for his help. I got into an accident on a suspended license, I was facing a class A misdemeanor. Mr. O'Connor was able to remove the misdemeanor charge, get me court supervision and remove the ticket from my record. (Keep in mind too I have a slightly horrible driving record) I was in the court room for all of 5 minutes, if even that. It took longer to find parking than it did to hear my case. Being 19 years old, I could have easily messed up my record. Thank you again Mr. O'Connor for helping me!

Great Lawyer and the best at DUI cases

Couldn’t ask for more

At the lowest point in my life- where I felt more hopeless and scared than I’ve ever felt- Mr. O’Connor walked me through everything with such care and understanding. Any time I was anxious or confused- he took the time to calm me and make sure I understood. As much as this will always be the lowest point in my life- with Peter as my lawyer- it wasn’t that bad.

Awesome and professional

Peter was very understanding and explained everything I could expect in my case. When calling with questions during my case he got back to me quickly and made sure I understood everything. Peter the Lifesaver

I met Peter a few days after I was pulled over for a DUI. I was 23 at the time and determined to handle the situation myself and Peter made that happen. He was incredibly understanding of me not wanting my parents to find out (they still haven't). This is a field Peter is very familiar and comfortable navigating and he walked me through each step so that there were no surprises. Pete O’Connor DUI Defense

Pete did an amazing job managing my case, was so patient with my questions/concerns through the whole process! He gave me as much insight and information that he could to reassure me that I’d get through this process somehow. DUI Case closed on first appearance !

I highly recommend this attorney, Pete is a very smart DUI attorney and knows well how prosecutors work. He listened and analyzed all the details from the traffic stop to arrest and release and put a complete proactive plan for the first appearance date. Peter Did an Amazing Job with my case. I greatly recommend him if you find yourself with a DUI offense. I was unfortunately facing a second DUI conviction. Peter clearly explained my legal situation and went to work fighting my case. He was completely successful in bringing my second offense down to a Reckless Driving. Serious Jeopardy

Mr. O'Connor represented me in a case where I was facing two class A misdemeanors. The legal strategy he employed resulted in the charges being dropped before trial. I found Mr. O'Connor to be a personable yet serious fellow.

Patient, Respectful and Knowledgeable
