I hired Mr. Klein to represent me on a rather convoluted problem. A problem I didn’t understand at all and as a result I had given him only vague and inaccurate information. He started work on the case even before receiving my check. The following day he contacted me and explained several things about this case I hadn’t been aware of. Not the least of which was that he didn’t have a strong background in this particular area. Something he could have told me in our first conversation had I been able to give him accurate information from the start. He had also sought out attorneys who did specialize in this type of very unusual case. Not only did he provide that list but also offered to work with me to ensure I found the right one for my needs and to provide the important details he had already discovered about my case. While I found it surprising that he would do all of this it was nothing compared to the fact that he wouldn’t let me pay him for his time. I felt he should be compensated for the many hours he spent on this and for his integrity but he disagreed saying it had been an interesting learning experience. While I can’t attest to his abilities in the court room I can tell you this man is the very definition of integrity.

I’m a Chicago Excutive and somehow got caught up in an unfortunate felony Retail theft in Cook county, unfortunately followed by a bogus misdemeanor charge in Dupage Country shortly after!! I couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer to represent my case in court. He was very reassuring and comforting from the beginning to the end. For a first time DUI offense (with a car accident involved), I was scared out of my mind, I spoke to a dozen of lawyers before coming across Steve, and from the initial call, he went more in depth than anyone I’d spoken to, and made sure I was in understanding of the entire process before ending our conversation (this was before I even hired him). During my first visit Steve was very right on point with his answers to the problem. Once he understood my case he showed me what had to be done to win my case. During the trial he brought out the correct points to win my case. If I should need services again he would be the one to turn to.

Steve was incredible. He was recommended to me by a friends law office in the suburbs and I thank god they did. From the first time I spoke to him, I knew I wanted his help. I had gotten 4 tickets, including a dui and was freaking out. After my first meeting with him, he calmed me down, gave me some recommendations and he made the process smooth. Attorney Steve Klein did a great job assisting me in a time of need. He was very assertive and confident with our game plan going into my court date. This which in turn eased my nerves. I was convicted of my first DUI in 2011. I never thought I would catch a second. A few months later in 2012 I was pulled over for a second. The second case was thrown out due to the officer not showing up for court. In Illinois, if you do not blow into a device to check how much alcohol you had to drink, you automatically get a 3 year suspension on your license. I had a unorganized lawyer at the time who did not help me obtain my license back. Here I am almost 4 years later and I get pulled over for a third. It was devastating because I knew this time it would be bad. I read great reviews about Steve and I called him. Steve was very knowledgeable. Talking to him about my case put me at ease. He gave me the good and bad up front. I hired Steve because he did not sugar coat anything with me and told me what could come of my situation. I knew I was not guilty. But in the eyes of the state your always guilty. Especially with my history. Steve was very organized and efficient. He always kept communication with me. He replied to all my emails and text messages. With a few months of continuing court dates and a bench trial. Steve won my trial. I did not win my 3 year suspension due to me not blowing into the divice when I was pulled over and a few other things. But had I been convicted I would have faced jail time, swap and I would have had to pay a lot more court fees. It would have put my job on the line and god knows what else I would have gone through. I am so happy that I hired Steve. He fought hard for me and did the best he could to get me out of this one and we won. He referred me to a friend to obtain a hardship license and I should be driving early next year. Thank you Steve Klein for your help.

Steve picked up the pieces my previous attorney left behind. Not only did we meet face-to-face but, he explained all my options. Very patient and informative. This was not the case with my previous attorney. With my previous attorney, I was headed straight to trial. Steve agreed that my case should be dismissed and it was thanks to him.

I hired Mr. Klein to help me file an expungement. I was very impressed with Mr. Klein's services as he always kept in contact and provided me with updates on my case as soon as they were available. The state objected my request for expungement, but thanks to Steve's presentation of facts behind my case, the judge ended up granting the expungement. I would highly recommend Mr. Klein.

Stephen did an awesome job and got me the best case scenario with my case. There were other people with the same ticket that were getting harsh punishments while Stephen was able to get my ticket reduced. He does a great job at keeping you updated throughout the entire process. I was not worried at all walking into the court room with Stephen as my lawyer.

Mr. Klein helped me win my case, when I came to him about my case, Mr. Klein took this case and broke it down to me the way he said it would go. Steve was polite and helpful in resolving a traffic violation (non-dui/dwi). He spent the time to walk me through the options and understand the charge filled against me. He went through all of the evidence I had gathered and helped sort out what was relevant and what was not. The case was ended up in a dismissal, however he was fully prepared to move to trial and I felt confident that it would have gone in my favor. I would definitely hire him again if the need for it arose.

The thing I'll say about Steve is that he was great at chilling me out when I somewhat freaking out. Honestly, the other side never showed up, so it was dismissed before getting to trial. But I glad I had him for those first several weeks.
