The best Attorney I have ever met

I have known Mr. Kans for well over 15 years representing my son on several DUI cases. In that time I've gotten to know him pretty well. Before I retired I worked with dozens of attorneys from corporations and law firms. Mr Kans is by far the best of all of them. He is professional, personable ,very well respected and really knows the law. Even people that work at the court house have come up to me to comment what a great attorney he is, which by itself is a great endorsement. If you need a terrific lawyer you sincerely need to call Douglas Kans.

At the time I contacted Doug, I was in a situation that seemed impossible to win. Upon conversing with Doug, it became apparent to me that he was the lawyer for me. He was nonjudgemental of my situation, extremely understanding, and above all, he put me at ease with the knowledge that I was being represented by someone who had my best interest at heart. During my case, Doug was tenacious and would not take "no" for an answer. My case lasted almost a year, and at no point did Doug lose faith that we could win or try to tell me to "take a deal". The outcome of my case was better than I could have ever hoped for. In my opinion, Doug is truly the best Minnesota has to offer, and you could not go wrong in choosing him to represent you. Professional all around

Doug is handling my case now. I have had the first consultation with him so far and went there freaking out. Doug has calmed me down and explained everything to me. He is honest, reasonable, and cares about his clients. His staff is awesome and have updated me through out this process. I will definitely recommend any one who is going through the criminal justice system, and needs help with their case to contact Doug. I am very grateful he is fighting for me. Thank You Doug !

I just wanted to say thank you to Doug and his team for the excellent job he did with my sons cases. I met Doug about three years ago to help me through some issues. Doug took the time needed to handle these issues for me. He always kept us informed on what was happening and ALWAYS fought for my sons rights and his best interest. Doug never gave into the "system" when he thought it was not right. I would hire Doug and his team again if I ever needed anything. First class man and team. Thank you for everything !!!

Doug truly embodies the term “Results Oriented”. He is highly regarded by prosecutors and judges due to his integrity and proven ability inside and out of the courtroom. I have personally been represented by Doug for two felony DUI cases in which a resolution seemed impossible without personally losing everything and he surpassed all expectations. EXCEPTIONAL ALL AROUND EXPERIENCE

My experience with the Kans Law Firm has been outstanding. All the attorneys there work diligently to provide you with the best possible outcome that they can. They will keep you updated throughout the process, every step of the way, and inform you of any new updates as the process goes along. Everyone who works with the Kans Law Firm was extremely courteous, punctual and ethically aggressive. I could not have asked for a better outcome in my legal matters. Kans Law Firm turned a very stressful and confusing process through the legal system into a very manageable and understandable process. Thankful

Douglas helped me through some difficult times with the criminal justice system and kept me informed & wanted what was best for me the whole time , & the final outcome was to my benefit. DUI case success with lawyer Doug Kans

Doug Kans and his team were exceptional. From the very first phone call from Doug himself, I knew I was in good hands. I was treated respectfully and I felt that my concerns and worries were heard, understood, and taken care of. I was a first time offender on a DUI charge, and had no idea what would happen, what kind of sentence I might receive, or how to handle any legal matters associated with my case. Doug, his partner, and his assistant were all involved in answering any question I had and keeping me informed. The outcome of my sentence was something I did not know was even possible, but Doug bargained it down. Because of Doug and his work, this will not affect my professional career, and I will come out unscathed. I sincerely recommend this lawyer to anyone, not only for his high degree of professional know how, but also for his tenderness with situations that need a certain degree emotional awareness. Doug and his team are by far the best at what they do and I would recommend hiring them in a heartbeat.

Our experience

Doug Kans was an amazing lawyer. He worked through all of the DWI issues that we faced and explained everything to us perfectly.
