I have been married for almost 30 years and have one son. We have two dogs and a cat and family life is very important to me. I am proud to be a veteran and was a legal specialist in the Army from 1983 to 1986. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. I graduated from William Mitchell College of Law and attended nights while working full time days. My hobbies include reading, golfing, swimming, and feeding fish off the dock at the office. I am still passionate about the law and the courts and enjoy what I do immensely. Though stressful at times I realize that I directly affect many lives and try to do it in a positive fashion.

Great Lawyer! 10/10 would recommend!
Bob has been our lawyer for little over 4 years now in what seems to be a circus ring of a custody battle sh*tshow. He is relatable, his advice is realistic, and the ONLY reason our case has taken as long as it has is because of the judge in our case. He always says what amounts to "Well, you've made...

Excellent Courtroom skills and abilities
I was going through a messy contested divorce. My wife pressed an OFP against me after the divorce filing. Bob Manson was my attorney for OFP. We went for a full trial. Bob had excellent courtroom skills and abilities. We won the case and the OFP against me was dismissed. I recommend Bob for any fami...

Great Attorney
I hired Mr. Manson to help me with my ongoing, neverending custody battle. It was one of the most intense cases of parental alienation most people had ever heard about. Bob encouraged me the entire time to hang in there and talked me through the process. I have now been awarded full custody of my chi...

Professional and Personable
We hired Mr. Manson to help us obtain third-party custody. It has been an emotionally trying experience and we have appreciated having such a knowledgeable lawyer by our side guiding us along. He is genuinely concerned and interested to know how the child is doing/adjusting and advising us on how to ...

Robert is a good lawyer
Robert represented me In a grandparent visitation trial. He was reasonably priced for the superb service he provided. He was a strong advocate for my case against the grandparent.
"I had a heckuva case against Bob that went to trial, he is a very good attorney who also wants to help his client and resolve the case. I endorse Bob Manson."
"I endorse this lawyer. He is a seasoned and tough litigator. At the same time, he is willing to put in the time to craft a well-reasoned and detailed settlement where possible."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Robert Manson works very hard for his clients applying the skills he has developed over the course of his twenty-three years as a Minnesota family law lawyer. Although he is well known for his rigorous and detailed trial preparation and litigation skills, he prefers settlement over court battles. But whether in the court room, or the mediation table, the most important outcome for Mr. Manson is a favorable one, for his client."
