I have been married for almost 30 years and have one son. We have two dogs and a cat and family life is very important to me. I am proud to be a veteran and was a legal specialist in the Army from 1983 to 1986. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. I graduated from William Mitchell College of Law and attended nights while working full time days. My hobbies include reading, golfing, swimming, and feeding fish off the dock at the office. I am still passionate about the law and the courts and enjoy what I do immensely. Though stressful at times I realize that I directly affect many lives and try to do it in a positive fashion.

Child custody
I worked with Robert as my attorney for the last 2 years for my custody case. As a unmarried father in Minnesota, the odds are definitely against you. Robert was there for me through and through, and he wouldn't quit fighting for me to have equal parenting time with my son. We just recieved the good ...

Great Lawyer, good communication, reasonable rates.
Robert helped me out substantially. He cut my child support in half, and settled my divorce in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him to represent you. He and his staff have great communication between phone and email.

Extremely happy client!
I hired Bob to help me with writing a legal brief. I have an order for protection against my ex boyfriend, which was violated. I ended up proceeding forward to hold him in contempt on my own, which I discovered is almost unheard of. After the hearing, the judge asked for legal briefs to be submitt...

Intelligent, Caring, and Efficient
I’m very glad that I chose Robert Manson to represent me in my custody and support modification. Robert was upfront, professional and he kept me informed through the entire process of my case. He seemed to genuinely care about me and my children. He was very easily reached and accessible when I had...
"I had a heckuva case against Bob that went to trial, he is a very good attorney who also wants to help his client and resolve the case. I endorse Bob Manson."
"I endorse this lawyer. He is a seasoned and tough litigator. At the same time, he is willing to put in the time to craft a well-reasoned and detailed settlement where possible."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Robert Manson works very hard for his clients applying the skills he has developed over the course of his twenty-three years as a Minnesota family law lawyer. Although he is well known for his rigorous and detailed trial preparation and litigation skills, he prefers settlement over court battles. But whether in the court room, or the mediation table, the most important outcome for Mr. Manson is a favorable one, for his client."
