Poor communication, slow

I hired him to represent me in a custody case. When we first met he stated it was on the house as we were seeking advice. We did end hiring him. I gave him all the info her asked for and waited, and waited. Months went by and nothing. He did not even attempt to contact anyone on my behalf. I have yet... to receive any hard copies of anything from him. I had to argue about getting my final statement after I had said enough and finished the process without him. Upon my final bill there were multiple duplicate charges. I can't believe I referred him in the beginning but he talks a great game. He "typically represents the fathers" is what he said when I first met him. We'll he did a great job helping him out and not doing anything on my behalf.

It is difficult to respond to an anonymous post. I have not received any complaints of this sort directly and would have resolved them if I had. I would request this person contact me directly to discuss their concerns.

Great Lawyer!!!

I hired Bob after meeting him at a free family law clinic he does once a month. I had met with other attorneys and I didn't feel comfortable with them but I immediately had confidence in Bob's ability. He works hard, he is capable, and experienced. He quickly gets in contact with me when action ne...eds to be taken in my case. He is timely in completing paperwork and sending it to me. Despite numerous circumstances that are not in my favor the judge went with our motion at a temporary hearing and I am already seeing the positive effects on my children. My attorney is highly ethical and has a personal background that adds to his abilities. I'm fortunate that I found him. His rates are average, not that money is an issue when it is a child's well-being. He has 27 years of family law experience but appears to be in his prime. He is energetic with an excellent memory and attention to detail. His court room manner was good. He was articulate in expressing our arguments and the judge specifically referred to some of his language in the temporary order showing that he had an impact. He is familiar with many of the people that I've interacted with throughout the divorce and custody process. For the benefit of those who may be dealing with a situation similar to mine I must recommend Bob Manson.

"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Robert Manson works very hard for his clients applying the skills he has developed over the course of his twenty-three years as a Minnesota family law lawyer. Although he is well known for his rigorous and detailed trial preparation and litigation skills, he prefers settlement over court battles. But whether in the court room, or the mediation table, the most important outcome for Mr. Manson is a favorable one, for his client."
