Honest results, amazing results

I was a party to an employment agreement. Nick advised me in a wrongful discharge dispute related to that agreement, and represented me during negotiations and settlement. He is a great teacher, and helped me to understand the issues so that we could work as partners to set a reasonable settlement ...objective and chart a strategy for getting there. I quickly developed great confidence in him and was absolutely delighted with the outcome. Perhaps one of the best things about working with Nick is his demeanor. There were significant financial ramifications involved in this case and I was riding an emotional roller coaster. Nick's style is very calm and matter-of-fact, which helped me to stay in a head-space that was conducive to good decision-making.

Highest Recommendation

Skilled and earnest are the first two words that come to mind when I think back on how well Nick McLeod represented me. He handily addressed each step of the process while at the same time offering reassurances and understandable explanations that turned a seemingly daunting situation into comfortabl...e experience. I am grateful Mr. McLeod was in my corner, and I am pleased to give him my highest recommendation.

Results Driven!

Attorney McLeod was extremely responsive and well prepared. I hired him to help with a pre-disciplinary hearing that I contemplated handling on my own. I am so glad that I had him in my corner. His knowledge and tenacity definitely changed the tone of the hearing. Ultimately, my employer decided not ...to seek discipline against me. I would hire Attorney McLeod again and recommend him to anyone needing an employment attorney. He’s the best!

Gain Financially, Secure Fair Terms & Peace of Mind - Severance Agreement

I hired Nick. I gained additional financial compensation, adjusted terms, knowledge, and peace of mind. Nick ‘gifted’ me an incredible amount of employment and compensation knowledge. I hired him as an investment in me and I gained so much in awareness through his counsel and excellent represen...tation. Honestly, with Nick involved it removed much of the stress associated with negotiating the severance agreement related to my transition. I was amazed at how easily he was able to reach out to his fellow attorney and work on behalf of the other organization, while seamlessly negotiate modified terms. While I have experience with contracts and negotiation, I found it invaluable to have someone lift that stress and point out numerous areas where the agreement was unreasonable. Finally, I did not expect to need interpretation of the agreement, but he went through it line by line, and various areas were originally written in a way that was not in my favor as a former employee. I highly recommend making the initial phone call to Nick, at no obligation. Meeting with him in person to review documentation was money well spent. At that time, I had not formally hired him to represent me and did not feel any pressure to do so. Nick earned my trust by offering perspective, knowledge and showing he had done a full review of my case paperwork and the employer by the time I walked through the doors to meet with him. I am grateful.

MOM WINS RIGHT TO CARE FOR DISABLED CHILD

I cannot say enough positive things about Nick McLeod! He was an integral part of my legal team that won my case in federal court. He was so thorough, intelligent, well versed in the law and always available for me when I had questions. From day one he and the rest of the team made me feel as though ...I was their only client. He would always answer calls and emails immediately. Even after it was over his care continued when I had financial questions. Thank you so much Nick! I am forever appreciative for all of your expertise!
