Attorney Nicholas is the best employment lawyer i know.

I want to thank Nicholas for representing me. I had no idea what to do when I got a letter of hearing notices from UI because my former employer had appealed against me, regarding my unemployment claim. I was very lucky to find Nicholas to represent me. He quickly responded all my question and lis...tened me. He professionally advise me to prepare for the hearing and represent me. I won the case. He is the best employment lawyer I know. he certainly has honesty and professionalism and deep knowledge of employment law. I am happy now. Thank Mr. McLeod.

Unemplohyment benefits

I was terminated by my employer after 21 years as a loyal employee. I was hurt, in shock and angry. Despite the untrue allegations, I was denied unemployment benefits. I decided that it was time to get legal advice so I could get the benefits that I felt I was entitled to. My first meeting wit...h Attorney Nicholas McLeod went very well and he was able to draw out of me the facts of the situation. He helped me gather all the important information that I would need to win my case. He was knowledgeable and very well prepared for the appeal hearing. Attorney McLeod helped me to prepare for the hearing by walking me through what was going to take place. During the appeal hearing, he was very professional and quite effective in presenting my case. He helped me feel very supported and confident. I can’t thank him enough for his help and his support that enabled me to win my case.

Extremely Courteous & Professional Attorney, Highly Recommended!!! :)

You hope that you never really have to get legal representation, (because unfortunately, that often means there is a stressful legal dispute that needs to be solved) but sometimes, things happen in life where you absolutely need an honest attorneys knowledge and support, and this was one of those tim...es.... I endured harrassment at the hands of my own employer and was forced to resign, due to the fact that Human Resources refused to stop this individual's unethical behavior, discipline the individual in question, or protect me by transferring / removing me from the situation.... Despite me choosing to resign, I was met with encouragement from my former employer, who assured me that they were extremely sorry I had to endure such harrassment, understood my reasons for leaving, and even encouraged me to apply for unemployment.... However, after applying for unemployment, I was also blindsided by the same HR director's false statements to unemployment, claiming little to no knowledge of such harrassment, (even though myself and another employee already filed a written complaint) they acted as if I "quit for no reason" leading to an unfair denial and no unemployment benefits, due to my former employers dishonesty..... I was referred to Attorney Nick McLeod (Alan Olsen & Associates) who met with me face to face. He calmly assured me that I was doing the right thing, and not to worry, as he was confident we would win the case..... He showed compassion, and a genuine interest in my case, as we went over every detail for almost 2 hours.... We also went over witness statements and guidelines for giving testimony and responding to cross-examination, all in preparation of my future court date... I appealed the previous decision and a hearing was set in front of an administrative law judge. Nick questioned my former employer so thoroughly, to the point of them eventually becoming flustered! They had no choice but to admit (in front of the judge) that the harrassment occured (even though they downplayed the severity of it) with Mr. McLeod's expertise, the judge saw right through it, and granted my appeal, reversing the original denial and approving my unemployment benefits! .... This wasn't about money, it was about principle.... Thanks to Mr. McLeod's continued professionalism, support, and "thinking outside the box", I was able to win both a financial & moral victory... I've already referred him to one individual, and will continue to praise his good graces in the future!!!.... THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! :)
