Client

Heath is an amazing attorney. I was facing 2 charges and I have a colorful past. I was facing charges in a jurisdiction that usually gives max penalties. Heath and his team got the biggest charge dropped and i was ok with paying a very small fine(which was my idea). He was fully prepared to go to tr...ial but he was able to get them dropped prior to trial. I fully recommend Heath Lynch. He knows his work and has been available by cell whenever I had a question. Most attorneys get your money and disappear. It gelt good to have an attorney and lawfirm to fully commit and care about their client.

Health cares & gets results!

In April of 2018 my son was involved in an accident in which resulted in him facing a Misdemeanor. We knew in our hearts that the charge was not warranted for what he had done and knew we needed a lawyer. I contacted several lawyers in the area and they all told me he would need to "settle" with prob...ation at the very least and honestly just didn't seem like they cared 2 cents to help in such a case. I was starting to lose hope when I came across Health Lynch and the firm at Springstead, Bartish & Lynch. I called though and spoke with Health for a good 30 minutes and knew that he was compassionate, dedicated and sincere about helping his clients achieve the best possible results. He makes sure to let you know that you can contact him at anytime with any questions you have and never wants you to feel as if you are alone in the whole process. Throughout the days leading up to the court date we stayed in contact with not only him but Chasity in the office, as well. She too, was extremely caring and friendly and was also readily available if you needed to speak with him someone. In the end Health, got our son the best possible outcome - CASE DISMISSED!! We are ever so thankful for Health and his team and would highly recommend to everyone!!

Excellent Attorney

My 17 year old son was being charged with 3rd degree retail fraud, weeks before he was supposed to leave on a school trip to Europe. During his pre-trial conference, he was told he could not leave the state. Knowing we would lose the $5000. we had paid for the trip, I decided we needed advice from an... attorney. Heath offered to take on the case, feeling confident my son would be able to leave the country. Immediately I felt a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. We were very naive to the legal system, but Heath, and his legal secretary, Chasity, kept me in the loop with everything going on. Ultimately my son pleaded guilty and received probation, but he was able to leave the country. Heath also advocated for him to participate in the HYTA program, which was approved by the judge. We are extremely grateful for how things turned out. Overall Heath did an amazing job of representing my son. I highly recommend Heath as a compassionate and professional attorney.

When bouncers attack, you want Heath in your corner!

I had to take the time to write an honest review for Heath Lynch and his support staff at Springstead, Bartish & Borgula Law PLLC. Unfortunately I was involved in a late-night incident at a watering hole and par for the course the losers always try to pursue you afterwards. Granted bar fights are n...ot uncommon but the establishment losing one probably is less common. Their bouncer commenced violence followed by other employees and a manager; I quickly ended the threat as I was simply protecting my spouse. We walked away unscathed and were questioned by law enforcement about the incident and found out the establishment would be seeking charges against me. I live out of town and quickly gathered I needed an attorney with experience and clout in Grand Rapids. I performed research on the local firms and got in contact with Heath. I explained my situation and knew it was time to hire Heath. I was on the defending side of two misdemeanor charges and up against a local establishment who was leaning on law enforcement for results. The ordeal was stressful but after talking with Heath and team, my worries started to take a back seat. Most importantly I was able to get back to my obligations while I knew Heath could handle any new happenings regarding the case. It was well worth the money to have experience and their knowledge on my side. What I appreciated the most about Heath was I told him everything that happened and never had to remind him. He is impeccably diligent with the details, understanding and puts himself in your shoes to truly understand your unique situation. Our conversations felt like I was consulting a good friend, a good friend that also happens to have years of experience on both ends of the spectrum prosecuting and defending criminal cases. Heath handled all my correspondence with the detectives working the case. He was able to gather information I could not. In addition, his staff was lightning fast completing tasks and always available to answer quick questions. The story ends well, no charges were filed which was our bottom-line goal. I’m sure the other-side wasn’t pleased but they can at least walk away with a free lesson in risk management. At a minimum, call for a consultation, valuable advice from an experienced professional like Heath Lynch will always give you a leg up on your case.

Best Attorney Ever, and Worth Every Penny!

I was camping at Warren Dunes State Park and had a run-in with the camp troopers, and I was issued a citation for possession of cannabis. I didn't want to use a public defender as I thought I'd have better chances hiring my own attorney which is how I ended up with Heath Lynch as my attorney, and I c...ouldn't be happier with my decision. I called tons of law firms, spoke with many attorneys, and got a lot of quotes, but I could tell that Heath Lynch was the best. From the first time I contacted his office I was impressed with how responsive and attentive to my needs he and his paralegal (Chasity) were. I wasn't rushed off the phone like many of the other attorneys did, and Heath was at least willing to explore all possibilities. When I spoke with the other attorneys they told me to take the initial plea deal the prosecutor offered as it was a "good deal" (read on for details of the initial plea deal). I called late and left a message, and they got right back to me right away. Heath even provided his cell phone number so I could reach him any time. I was extremely scared and nervous about the whole process, but after speaking with Heath I was immediately put at ease. I was facing up to two years in jail, heavy fines, and to make a long story short Heath was able to work with the prosecutor and obtain a plea deal for me resulting in a 6 month probation. My deal was called a 74/11 so as long as I make it through my probationary period without any new offences all charges will be automatically expunged, which is what I was looking for as I didn't want anything on my record. Throughout the process I had all kinds of questions, and every time I called or sent an email Heath and/or Chasity got back to me right away with all the information I was requesting. Heath didn't sugar coat anything and always explained the good, the bad, and the possibilities of what could happen. Heath was extremely knowledgeable of the law, extremely professional, courteous, always punctual, and always followed through on what we discussed. He never made me feel stupid or bad, he was always pleasant to work with, and his professional nature seamed to always put me at ease. He always prepped me before going into court, and I was never blindsided by anything as he always made sure to explain the process upfront. He never made any unrealistic promises or guarantees, but he was always willing to try to accomplish everything I asked of him. At the initial arraignment the prosecutor did offer a plea deal so if I plead guilty to use I would have to pay heavy fines, I would be on probation, my driver's license would have been immediately suspended, I wouldn't have been allowed to leave the state, and I would have had a misdemeanor on my record for 7 years and after the 7 years I would be able to get it expunged. Like I said earlier; hiring Heath Lynch and having him work out a different plea deal I only ended up with a minimal fine, probation, and automatic expungement after the 6 months so no misdemeanor on my record, I can leave the state, and I kept my driver's license. If anyone should need legal representation in MI I strongly encourage that you utilize Heath Lynch.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Heath Lynch personnaly and professionally for over 10 years. As a criminal defense attorney, I acted as opposing counsel on numerous cases that Heath handled as an Assistant United States Attorney. Heath was always thorough, prepared, and formidable as opponent. He was also always fair and honest. When he decided to leave the United States attorneys office to pursue a career as a criminal defense attorney, myself and my partners knew that we wanted him to join our firm.
