My experience with Mr.Heath Lynch was life changing..my life and freedom was on the line and the prosecutor offered a plea that really was outrageous in my opinion but Heath was right there with me through the whole process..I talked to about 3-4 different lawyers but from the start I knew Heath was ...the lawyer for me because his attention on my view of my case was very focused even from our very first conversation...we only had about 2-3 months to prepare for trial and being that I know Heath was busy with other work it was amazing how he was prepared to represent me in trial..there were a lot of things I brought to Heath and Sarah’s attention about my case and Heath was able to word it in legal/lawyer terms and present it to the jury and judge in ways that made me realize I was so glad to have a talented lawyer like Heath on my team..I was very impressed and satisfied with his courtroom presence and dialogue in trial...if I come across a battle again which I doubt I will lol but if so I’m calling my ally/lawyer with upmost respect and confidence no one else I would rather be “in the trenches” with..we won in federal trail facing 10-life and I told Heath he really saved my life and I’ll never forget it

SBBL was not the first firm I contacted after the arrest of my stepson in Florida for serious charges with possibility of life in prison without parole.  After not getting a call back from that other firm....which delayed his representation..... I called SBBL and was very quickly in contact with Heat...h Lynch. Unfortunately during this delay my stepson spoke to a public defender in Florida who gave him the wrong advice and was extradited to Michigan starting a week of traveling to multiple jails between Florida and Michigan before being jailed in the county that charged him.  The importance of contacting a knowledgeable  attorney quickly became apparent and we hired Heath.  During the next almost two years Heath along with Laura Helderop were our representatives.  We started this ordeal before the pandemic with both court and zoom appearances through the opening and closing of court due to the pandemic.  Either Heath or Laura were there every step of the way.   My stepson who proclaimed his innocence throughout the process kept getting many plea deals.  He refused them all and Heath stuck by him even though many plea deals were better than he had ever seen for other clients in the same situation.  As we finally got to a trial date after almost two years of delays we got a final plea deal which was not accepted. Heath and the team at SBBL were fully prepared for trial when just days before the start of the trial Heath working with the prosecutor got a complete dismissal of all charges giving my stepson his life back.  I wholeheartedly would recommend Heath and the team at SBBL for anyone who finds themselves in the position we did.  Although no one wants to hire a criminal defense lawyer if you need one Heath Lynch should be at the top of your list for consideration. 

Heath was excellent in every way! We hired him early on, as soon as allegations were made, in hopes of preventing charges from being filed. Heath went above and beyond. Walking us through the process and helping to ease the stress of a difficult situation. He was very knowledgeable and answered any q...uestions we had. We never had any doubts that he had our backs. In the end, charges were dropped and charges were never filed! I highly recommend Heath for any legal needs!!

I rarely write reviews. A service has to either be pretty bad, or done extremely well. I was so thankful that this service was top notch. Unfortunately my father had a once in a lifetime bad night, with bad choices, and a family that has never seen the likes of barely a traffic stop was now facing a ...possible felony with misdemeanors and jail/prison time. To say we were scared and nervous would be an understatement. After crawling the internet for criminal law lawyers in the area, we went and scheduled appointments with 3 different highly ranked lawyers, Heath Lynch being one of the 3. With some visits with the other lawyers, we chose to go with Heath. He had the skill of really putting in-depth situations and choices into laymen terms, and just simply put us at ease. This guy knows his stuff, and it’s clearly evident. He always made us calm and it was laid out at the very beginning that he was a text or phone call away if we had another question or concern. If you are reading this- that is huge, and we tested it. He passes that test with flying colors. I can’t stress that enough. In addition to Heath, his staff was always on the ball, patient, understanding and best of all, completely responsive. Heath both looks the part, talks the part, and has a presence in the court room. To wrap this up, every little step Heath explained to us beforehand happened in real life just as he had explained. I was shocked at how accurate his explanation was. My father went from facing a felony, misdemeanor and and jail time, to the eventual dismissal of the felony AND misdemeanor charges AND avoiding jail. If you are stuck in a bad situation and are looking for the lawyer to give you that confidence and take the guesswork out of things, I highly recommend Heath.
