Robert was a great attourney for my case the second I met him! He always worked with my schedule and went to locations that were convenient for me. He was very thorough in his research of my case to make sure everything was covered such as going to the scene of my incident and reviewing police vide...os. All of which he reviewed with me and made sure that I understood and agreed with him on everything. He definitely keeps you up to date and not in the dark about what is going on. Another way he accomplished this was making himself readily available for any questions. Rarely did he ever miss a call or text and if he did, he answered within a short amount of time. In May 2015, I was involved in a car accident in Burton, MI. I was T-boned by another vehicle at an intersection on the driver's side, my car rolled, and I lost consciousness. When I came to, Onstar was talking to me through the car speaker and assured me that help was coming. A witness assisted me o...ut of the vehicle and shortly after a police officer arrived on scene. I learned that the other driver had left the scene in her vehicle shortly after the accident. When the police got there, the officer asked if I had been drinking. I informed him that I had had a few drinks earlier, but did not believe I was impaired. The officer asked if I would complete some sobriety testing, to which I agreed. (Unaware at the time that I had a concussion, as I had refused medical care.) I failed sobriety testing and I was read my rights and agreed to submit to a breathalyzer. I blew a .16. I was arrested for OWI. At the station, I was fingerprinted and booked. Shortly after, I was asked if I wanted to blow on the Datamaster machine or if I wanted my blood alcohol level drawn. Since I thought a blood test would be more accurate, I requested the latter. The officer then drove me to the hospital. At the hospital, a legal blood draw was performed at the request of the officer. I was then given a ticket for OWI and ordered to appear in court for arraignment in a few weeks. I knew that I was in trouble and needed to hire the best lawyer to handle my case. Not only did I need to protect my drivingn privileges, but as a licensed healthcare professional, I needed to protect my professional license as well. After several pretrials and lots of arguments, my case was slowly pled down. Mr. Andretz found an error made in my blood work, that many attorneys may have missed! We had several plea offers, finally settled on pleading down the OWI charge to a misdemeanor littering ticket and a failure to obey a traffic signal citation!! Mr. Andretz is a great communicator amazing attorney and he saved my career! My driver's license wasn't affected and I even get to keep my CPL! WIN!
