I was charged with an Operating While Intoxicated in Eaton County Michigan. The charge was a misdemeanor drinking and driving offense. Once I retained Rob, his first piece of advice was to have an alcohol/drug assessment completed at a counseling center. I did this, and they gave things they thought ...would be beneficial. Rob had me complete the MADD class, the Alcohol Highway Safety class, and the Relapse Prevention Classes that were recommended by the counseling center in Grand Rapids that I had the assessment done at. Once I was finally charged a few months after the incident, I had already completed everything the Court would have asked me to complete because Rob has a proactive approach to these things, which, I believe, was the absolute reason why my sentence was not harsh at all. I had Judge Adrianne Van Langevelde at 56A. She saw everything I had done upon Rob's advice and took all of it into account. My BAC was considered Superdrunk, which is typically a much higher offense. Due to all of the things I had completed upon Rob's advice, the Prosecutor allowed me to plead to a lesser charge. I ended up with 6 months probation (eligible for early release), 40 hours of community service, and only 845 in total court costs. No jail time, no house arrest, nothing that would interrupt my life excessively. While on probation, I only have to report once a month. The result of this matter was absolutely phenomenal. I would hands down recommend Rob Andretz for your DUI/DWI criminal matters. He is directly the reason for the result of my case being what it was. On top of all that, he cares about his clients and gives fantastic advice along the way. He is very responsive, and will always take your concerns into consideration. Hello. I hope that this review will help anyone in need of the best Criminal Lawyer. My situation started in September of 2023. I was charged with a high BAC. I just knew this could possibly stunt my growth on living a normal productive life. Robert is a very focused and compassionate in what he does.... I never felt uncomfortable with him, and followed all his advice, no questions asked. I never felt as if I was just paying money for some mediocre lawyer. Friends and family all asked me when is this going to be over. Robert never gave up. So it took time, his time and efforts. He is always proactive. I was looking at a high BAC .297, refusal to give a breath analysis, license suspension and possibly jail time. After vigorously working on my case, Robert and the Prosecutor agreed on a plea deal for me. The result was 24 months in the Veteran Administration treatment program with the 17th District court. Restricted driving privileges for work, medical appointments, and legal obligations. Fines were very reasonable. I will be able to have my license reinstated after 90 days . He is more than an attorney, Robert cares about not only your legal situation, but also the well being of your livelihood. In June 2023, I was arrested for Misdemeanor OWI in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Being from out of state, it was very stressful and Robert took all the time in the world to explain to me the process and even put me at ease with the situation. The odds were against me, High BAC, 0.19. No one was... injured, and luckily it was my first arrest, so I got booked for OWI. I found Robert by looking through this website, and I felt sharing my experience might help someone else. Robert has extensive knowledge of the 47th District Court and how Judge Parker operates. He suggested I do some pre-trial assessments, MADD VIP, Highway Safety Class, Relapse prevention classes and self-testing for alcohol while I was awaiting trial. At first, I was worried this would all be in vain. But Robert managed to prove to the Prosecutor that I was doing my part and actually a good person. Judge Parker allowed me to appear before court by Zoom for the whole trial. In large part, due to Robert's and the prosecutor's suggestions. In the end, Robert got me a plea deal for Operating While Visibly Impaired. It is the lowest of the misdemeanor DUI charges. I was sentenced to 30 hours community service (in my hometown) and 12 months probation, which may be cut in half for good behavior. No jail time! This is the best outcome I could have hoped for. Robert answered my calls day and night, no matter how many times I asked the same questions over again. He would stay calm and make sure I was at ease with everything I was going through. He became more of a friend than an attorney in my eyes. Although I never wish to need his services again, I would absolutely call Robert the minute a situation like this would happen. I truly believe you will be best served by hiring Robert. He goes over and above for his clients. If you follow his guidance, you will not regret it!

In 2020 I got an OWI. My original lawyer was not doing a great job with the case so I hired Rob Andretz to assist. Rob did a wonderful job helping me through the OWI case. He recommended several things that my first lawyer did not that eventually led to me receiving NO PROBATION and only having to ta...ke an online course and pay a small fine. 3 years later I received a letter from LARA asking me to be evaluated for HPRP (a program intended to help health professionals with true substance abuse disorders). I did some research and realized how invasive and costly this program can be. I knew I did not have any substance abuse problems, but after researching about how this program works I decided to once again hire Rob to help guide me through the process. While navigating through the HPRP intake process, Rob was able to explain how everything from the initial phone call, to the substance abuse evaluation would go. He is an excellent lawyer who makes time to take your calls, answer your texts, and help put your mind at ease while going through a stressful time. Rob's experience in the healthcare law field over they years has allowed him to become familiar with many of the HPRP evaluators. When I received my list of 3 evaluators, Rob immediately let me know who to stay away from and more importantly who the best evaluator was to receive our desired outcome. Rob Andretz was more than great and I highly recommend him and his firm! I had a probation violation in Southfield, MI (46th District Court - Judge Sheila Johnson) from 2011. I was not a resident of Michigan when I received these charges. I reached out to the court myself in early 2023 and found o...ut I was classified as abscounded for the last 12 years and a bench warrant out for my arrest. I knew then I needed an attorney to handle this for me because I did not want to go to jail. I had a probation violation on a possession of marijuana, DUI, possession of a firearm under the influence...all misdemeanor charges but up to a year in jail. My attorney advised me of exactly what I needed to do to take care of this matter. Three months later June 2023, he was able to have my drug charge removed from my record under the 7411, no jail time, the same judge from 2011 released me from probation. Rob was available whenever I contacted him by phone, text and email. He kept in touch with me on a regular basis and made me feel totally secure that he was working on my behalf in my best interests. I have finally been able to get a driver's license again. As soon I qualify for expungement of my record, I will be contacting Rob again to assist me with that.
