Took to finding a Bankruptcy Attorney in early '16. Called one and was underwhelmed, then a second, then a third...none of the calls left me feeling good about having a consult with any of them. I first hired Tom in December 2013 for a Chapter 13. He was great. He took the time to explain ALL my options and he listened to my concerns. Thru out the 2 years that I was in Ch. 13 a few questions or concerns came up and when I would contact him he was always quick to get back with me and answer m...y questions or concerns. Then in December 2015 I had an unexpected situation come up and couldn't afford the Ch. 13 payments. So again I called Tom and again, He went above and beyond what I expected and got my Chapter 7 filed on December 30th. He explained everything and walked me thru all of it. He always treated me with respect and was always honest and up front with me. He was so good to me that I actually recommended my sister to him for her Ch. 7 and he treated her to the same respect and dignity he gave me. Now she is just waiting for her discharge. I found Tom after reading a number of reviews online. I decided to give him, and a few other attorneys, a call. Tom was the only one who made me feel comfortable with my decision in filing, as there's such a stigma attached to bankruptcy. I never felt pressured to hire him, everything regarding the p...reparation to file was done at my pace, and the payment arrangement we came up with worked well with my own financial situation. Through the process, he was very informative and always available, no matter when I called. After the filing, I still received phone calls from some creditors. One creditor in particular would not stop calling, even stated try had no knowledge of the filing, yet their correct address was on the filing papers! Tom quickly stepped in and contacted the creditor, and the calls stopped. Tom is a great guy to have on your side when going through the bankruptcy process. I know I couldn't have chosen a better attorney!!
