Mr. Hensel was not the first attorney I talked to regarding my bankruptcy. But he was the last, because he listened better than the others. In addition, he was the most honest. The other two bankruptcy attorneys I spoke to stated that I needed to file Chapter 13 instead of Chapter 7. With a littl...e research, I found out that my situation was one that could have been filed as either Chapter 13 or Chapter 7. Attorneys usually make more money on Chapter 13 cases (i.e., where you have to pay back a portion of each debt and they get a percentage of each payment) than they do on Chapter 7 cases (i.e., where all debt is forgiven but the attorney gets paid a flat fee). Mr. Hensel did not hesitate to file my case as Chapter 7 and it succeeded. The world needs more honest people like him. In addition to the above, Mr. Hensel has kept me up-to-date on everything regarding my bankruptcy since it happened. What I mean by that is this: My bankruptcy happened several years ago and sometimes Judges move, cases get transferred (i.e., even tho they are completed), etc -- so every now and then I get a piece of mail from some type of bankruptcy court that I do not understand. I simply take a picture of it, send it to Mr. Hensel, and he responds with an answer. No charge. I would highly recommend Mr. Hensel to anyone. I am very impressed with his ethics, commitment to clients, and knowledge of bankruptcy law. And I am extremely thankful that he helped me restructure my life after my divorce and other situations got my finances out of control. Because of him, I was able to re-adjust my life and start over again.
