Univ. student long term dating relationship charged with CSC-3 and Domestic Violence charge

We retained Mr. Geherin to represent our 18 yr old son who was charged with CSC-3 and DV after his on and off girlfriend visited him the 3rd weekend of school in his freshmen year. Mr. Geherin is extremely hardworking and what I consider a "master" in his field. He is extremely organized, has an ama...zing memory to recall facts, and presents himself very professionally. Jurors appreciated and respected his ability to communicate clearly and respectfully while he laid out his defense. To our delight, our son's trial concluded successfully this week with a full acquital on both charges. I highly recommend Mr. Geherin for any criminal legal representation.

I recommend Daniel T. Geherin

I was recently in a position to witness Mr. Geherin in action and I must say it was a comfort to see such a competent person handling this very sensitive and very important case. Mr. Geherin was very well prepared each of the three days of the trial. His thorough knowledge of the case details, the w...itnesses, the defendant, and the inner workings of the law were evident in each word spoken and in every movement. When questioning a witness it was obvious to me that Mr. Geherin had specific information that he wanted to mine from each person and a plan to get that information. At no time did Mr. Geherin flounder or stumble over questions and his confident and respectful questioning of each witness served him well as witnesses warmed to him and gave him the information he wanted. If I were in trouble the characteristics I would want my lawyer to possess are: honesty, competence, professionalism, people skills, and effectiveness. Mr. Geherin has all of these in spades.

Great lawyer

A family member was represented by Dan. I was in the court room and witnessed Dan's clarity, command of the law, organzied and thought ful presentation of the facts. Dan was able to respond to the prosecutors claims and distortions with great skill. He was always one step ahead of the proscecution. ...Durng the trial, Dan was able to capitlaize on oversights made by the prosecutor. Dan Also used technology in the courtroom to assist people who process information visually by providing an organized power point of the salinent facts of the case. His command of the facts of the case was outstandiing and enabled Dan to provide excellent defense. I am impressed with his calm respectful approach, his consideration for the family and the client, and his absolute advocacy for ethical and honest behavior during the entire process from initial hearing to final verdict. I strongly recommend Dan Geherin.

CSC 3 and Dv case

I acquired Dan's firm for my case. Believe me when I say you do not only get one lawyer in the firm, they pull together all of their resources to help win your case. Dan is a very composed and organized lawyer. He was very respectable and prepared in court each day. Dan was always very supportive and... would keep me informed every step of the way throughout the process. He spent a lot of time preparing me for taking the stand. Not only did he prepare me for questions he would ask, but also questions that the opposing attorney would ask. Therefore, I was able to stay composed and prepared when I took the stand. The reason Dan won my case was because of his respectful and calm demeanor throughout the course of the trial. I happened to have the opportunity to talk with some jurors after they read me the verdict of not guilty. Each one of them mentioned how well prepared and respectful Dan was and they all just generally liked him. I was very fortunate to acquire Dan's services throughout the most difficult struggle in my life. I would highly recommend Dan to any friends or family, God forbid, if they get into any trouble.

Minor in Posession

I retained Daniel for a case of minor in possession of alcohol. We do not reside in Michigan, so I wanted to make sure that everything was handled properly and am very happy I chose Daniel to represent us.
