After a long, tedious search of trying to find someone willing enough to help us or make time for us, I found Mark. He had great reviews online and he was not only willing to help, but he was genuinely eager to assist us as well. He was friendly, responsive, and was very generous with the time he too...k to meet with us and explain how and why things needed to be done a certain way. And he did so eloquently and answered any and all questions with great patience. His experience and good-humor is punctuated by his professionalism and his kindness. My wife and I were looking to rehab and sell her inherited house in Warren. Mark was a pleasure to work with. When it came time to list the house, we wanted to go FSBO as much as possible. Mark tailored his program to 'fill in the blanks' where we were inexperienced. While we did the showings, he... provided the supplies, guidance and forms that are critical to successful negotiations. We are glad we hired him. Without him, we may have "sold" to some company offering to sell our property for us, on a land contract or something we didn't even really understand. When we went FSBO we got so many crazy responses, but few real buyers. We considered one or two, and Mark informed us why we DID NOT want to accept such a deal. Glad we listened. He would come to our home, discuss big picture considerations, and he lead us down the best path for our family. He always explained things and educated us, which we appreciated. He even knew just what the buyers would say in reply to our comments so we felt very prepared. Mark coordinated with the Title Co. and sat in on the closing. Mark took my call while he was on vacation and worked quickly to get up to speed on my real estate transaction. He was prompt with communication, knowledgeable in his answers and strategies, and explained everything he wanted for us, while telling us what and why the buyer would want what they were ...seeking. In fact, his strategies basically paid for his involvement in what he saved my family. He ran the interference needed when the other side tried to pull some silly actions both post-inspection and with the draft closing documents. Glad he was on our side and in our corner. Mark got involved with my real estate sale when my Realtor was in over her head and the buyer was seeking to get out and to keep an entire EMD. Mark worked with me on not only the real estate matter, but communicated with third parties trying to remedy an issue at the property for me, at no cost. W...hen a second offer came in, he assisted in drafting the counter, protecting me when that buyer walked as well. He was always easy to get a hold of, returned calls when he could not answer and had reassuring replies when I was very frustrated with the whole process. At the end of the day, with these positive experiences working with Mark, I ended up choosing to hire his real estate company to list my home. His agent was knowledgeable enough to lay out all potential issues for buyers to understand up-front and to price it accordingly, to actually reach closing.
