Biography
Katherine E. Flood is a cum laude graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. A G. Kent Frandsen scholar, Ms. Flood rose to distinction among her classmates, serving as an Executive Director of the Dean's Tutorial Society and a research assistant to Professor L. Tom Wilson.
Prior to opening her ownpractice, Ms. Flood's legal career included experiences in family law at a small Indianapolis law firm, as well as work in the public sector - clerking for the Honorable Judge William Hughes and serving as a legal intern for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation - and the private sector, serving as a Certified Legal Intern in the medical-legal partnership with Wishard.
Ms. Flood has chosen to focus her career in the area of family law. Her experience in this area is both broad and deep, and includes matters relating to dissolution, asset division, estate valuation, child custody, child support, paternity, guardianships for both juveniles and incapacitated persons, adoption matters, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, property settlement and marital settlement agreements, etc. Ms. Flood prides herself upon advocating for her clients with dedication, compassion, and skill.
In her free time, Ms. Flood enjoys volunteering her time as a Guardian ad Litem via the KidsVoice program in Indianapolis, and is active with several non-profits, including her role as a volunteer judge in the Reach for Youth Teen Court program.
